Agreed. Always maintained we could do better than Lallana but equally defended him because he's far from our worst player. He always gives 100% and I will always appreciate effort.

Don't disagree with structural issues point in general but thought it proved the "midfielders are ****e" more.

Watch Can when we lose the ball...sprints from their box and is tracking with the goal scorer well into our half then slows down to a jog and let's him make the run to receive the ball. I'm just not having that it's pre planned he stops at our 25 yard point and watches a now unmarked guy he tracked finish a move.
If I'm generous I'll say it's tiredness physical and mental. ....or he's a lazy thick bastard that gave up and he can **** off to italyland lol

But seriously question, why did the ref not deal with the Holgate shove?

He dealt with that then maybe what was or wasn't said might never have occurred.

That seems to have been kept quite and shoved under the carpet.

He gets away with it, then we will see more of that happening which is stupidity on the Fa part.

agreed but why so little defensive cover , particularly as the ones back aren't that quick, when we are winning which i always find odd i.e. one ball out of defence & we are in trouble which happens again & again.

 

Lallana is a Klopp favourite. Plus he actually presses, a lot, the rest of the team could learn a thing or two from him.

I agree. it is because not one single midfielder thinks about keeping goal side of ball and danger men.

I've seen countless examples of where a simple 5 yard adjustment of starting position cuts off the threat.

all they end up doing is exposing cbs to players running full tilt at then and the cm themselves have to work far harder in desperately sprinting to try even get close.

it's just a simple mentality thing and get the right position.
