they were. Sons looked great with the curve although i think Adrian should have been closer to his near post (probably wouldnt save it anyway). Obiangs was better for me. Just absolutely leathered it and reminded me of tony yeboahs strike. Lloris was lucky he didn't get his hands on it else they may have broken!
Wenger's got a 3 match touchline ban and £40k fine for his comments about Mike Dean. Would be nice to think he called him a ****, would be worth it for 40 G's. Anyway, not too bothered about this, he misses the FA cup game at the weekend and then the two Carabooo semi-final games. So more importantly he's back for our next PL game.
Not really. Obviously I'd rather he didn't get any touchline ban, but I'd rather he got them out of the way over the FA cup and Carabao cup games, so that he's back for the Prem games.
How’s that? Yes your next two games are FA cup and league cup but you have two league games before the second leg of the cup?
Ah no worries, I thought it seemed strange. TBH I’m not sure a manager missing is a biggy. They basically can give instructions through the bench
Yep, Wenger doesn't tend to get up off the bench and shout instructions at his players too much anyway. So he can communicate what he wants to Bould before the game and at HT anyway.
I hope VVD doesn't start tonight. He'll be rusty and not up to speed and it could be a feisty affair. Last thing we need is him coming in and getting injured. I'd bring him on when we're 4-0 up then ease him over the next few games.
Wenger could be in Australia and it wouldn't matter. He sits there like a dickhead. We'd miss Klopp and his masterful tactical ramblings.
