I have updated the Rules here to cover what's been agreed so far and also included certain Overseas races where ante post odds are available via ATR
Question Ron: If there is something on Oddschecker, quoted by at least two bookies, but NOT on ATR, is that a fail?
I work for a tableware supplier so when the winner is announced I will DM them the details so they can take their pick of some very fine stemware Now we just need to tap Bob up to fill them
Not sure I understand the question Reebs. But I hope the change I have just made clears it up. If you click on any race on the ATR site the race is always preceded by odds from Oddschecker
Saturday 27th January - 22:40 Gulfstream: Gun Runner £500 at 4/5 Tuesday 13th March - 16:10 Cheltenham: Apple's Jade £100 at 11/10
I had a look at that too Stick. Trained by the V W woman, carries a postage stamp, stays all day, goes ok in the conditions and has winning course form. What scared me though was the age. Is 11 too old? I don't know too much about this stuff, but I thought 8 or 9 was the best age to look at for these marathons.
I seem to recall and old saying "Back VW's horses when it's heavy". I was wondering why she had 2 in it but I see it's been left to EC.
okay. i'll provide the wine if Drever provides the glasses. just remind me when we have a winner. they can choose from a few different things so it doesn't go to waste if they don't like reds.
More to do with how much racing they'e endured, ten is the prime for a staying chaser although some clearly go on for a bit longer, emperor has more letters to his name in the last few years, he won this four years ago, he' s 10lb better in than then but anything class 1 in the last few years has seen him Pulled up, just my opinion but on the downgrade.
It wont be improving at 11 Cyc but it doesn't need to. She has worked its weight down to a very handy mark and probably cannot believe her luck at getting into this race. The horse is due to go up 3lbs already so with Charlies claim it is 6lb well in prior to tapes up.
