Maybe orta should sign players based on something other than their porn star nicknames.

Who knows who our number 1 targets were or weren’t, is the first to sign the priority or just the easiest to get done? To be honest it doesn’t matter whether he was 1 on the list or 20 on the list, what matters is whether he has what it takes for this side in this league. The DOF thought he would have, the coach who sees him every day doesn’t seem to think so.

This ‘we signed this player why don’t we play him’ stuff cracks me up. It doesn’t matter whether you paid millions or got a kid through the academy. The guy who picks the team picks it on what he believes is his best side not what they cost, not on whether the fans liked the YouTube clips of him.

Now i’ve never rated Phillips so i’d be happy to see someone else given a run, and I also don’t think as fans we can judge players on bit part appearances if they haven’t been given an opportunity... but putting conspiracy theories to one side, if TC thought he was up to it, he’d play him.

Do you believe Tc is playing our best side every game, do you also believe Klich and Cibicki weren't training properly, or, could it be Tc is holding grudges, or just playing it safe and hoping?

How can we know if Klich is any good if Tc doesn't give him a decent opportunity.

Let's be honest, he can't be any worse than Phillips, another bad game and he manages to stay on.......being the case, how can you trust Tc's judgement, his subbing is bewildering too.

I know some say I'm Phillips bashing, that's only because imo he's not pulling his weight or bringing much to team in every game, he just happens to be the one.

Our midfield is a problem, Tc tinkers instead of fixing by rotating same 3 players, while other CM's are sitting on bench or not even making that.

I suspect somethings happening or may be on cards, O'Leary's been hanging around a while.....

It's not up to us to know if Klich is any good, that's what TC is employed for. He won't pick a weakened team on purpose just to show how bad they are to the fans.

And playing Phillips is not a weakened team?

 

Team needs players who play with their feet, not their mouth.

 

Obviously not as weak as playing Klich in his position in TC's view.

 

And we've all learned, and seen how ineffective TC's views are.

 

TC has the advantage of watching the players day in day out, how many matches have you seen Klich play in?

Agreed, TC has the advantage of watching players day in and day out, his views and decisions are so good that,

we were breezing at top of league with a points gap, only to all of a sudden go into
a losing streak playing ugly football with no logical explanation, which in turn saw us slump and slip
outside of the top 6, and the same ugly football saw us literally claw our way back into top 6, only to have
another slip in form leaving us dropping back to 6th.

So what is it exactly, in your view, that TC is seeing in training that has seen Phillips offer very little to team, have a bad game against Forest,
get subbed against Brum, didn't start against Burton and got subbed against Hull. They're our last 4 games by the way.

What was TC seeing when he substituted Phillips with Klich against Brum.

Do the fans, especially paying fans have a right to know why Klich doesn't get equal opportunities, a lot of fans like Klich
and think he should get his chance.

How many games have you seen Klich play in to warrant, and justify your views and opinions.

 

But I haven’t seen him play or train, that’s fact. Your conjecture of a grudge held by TC against Klich is just that; unknown.

 

Fans that go regular have seen Klitch,not seen any of them screaming for him to play,only people I've seen doing that are people who don't go and have never seen him play.Maybe I've got it wrong,IS THERE ANYONE WHO'S SEEN KLITCH LIVE,THAT THINKS HE'S A GOD ?

For the record,as a season ticket holder,I like Phillips,think he will get better and better,and so far is better than Klitch.

 

You are saying Klich does not get equal opportunities, what are you basing that on.

 

Morning and a happy new year to all.With respect LL Christianson is the coach and will be more able to judge a player than a supporter. The fact that you don't rate him or certain players is irrelevant it is your opinion which you are entitled to.

 

Is this the same 'weakened' team that's in 6th place?

Is this the same 'weakened' team that's played some of the most breathtaking football seen at ER for years?

Is Phillips, a DM, scoring 5 goals before Xmas a seriously weakening factor? Damn, we should have got rid of the Batty fellow. Never even scored one. How weakening is that, eh?

Or perhaps Phillips is the secret love-child of Wood & all his positive aspects are 'accidents'.
