With Meire gone, that repellent man Richard Murray gets to play with the controls again for a few weeks at least, as DS previously stated he loves the ego boost of dealing with agents and feeling important. Maybe Murray’s final act at Charlton will be to smooth the sale of Konsa, no doubt he is already standing in front of the mirror perfecting his trademark disingenuous justification for it.

This club will NEVER move on while that man’ lingers over it like a bad smell.

 

Sadly true, and unless it scuppers a potential takeover dea,l Duchatelet won't care about the strength of our squad.
Hope he gets the money he's after for the Club, because I just don't see him walking away out of pocket.

I was enjoying this until the last line which suggested we may see a sale 'before the end of the season'. It also suggests Roland was devestated by Katrien resigning.

I have heard from a source who in the past has proved to be itk about such things that one of the interested groups comes from Bahrain. Before you all get excited it is suggested a bloke called Salem Patel may be involved. I can’t say this is more than rumour but if true you guys need to know what he is.

David Smith (ex Murray era director) is the only person I have read in the takeover who posts anything relevant or of interest. Another comment below from him tonight, stating that we could be in the sh1t if the next owner can’t afford to pay off the old Directors debts...

 

Why? I thought it was only payable upon return to the premier league? Surely it's a waste of resources without the premier league cash?
