Would be nice to think so, and then maybe we could believe the 'promise' to play a more attacking game ..
This is definitely a make or break for Mopo2...He just might save his bacon by getting a win.....If not I think he will be gone by the end of the week............Saints played well against United so he really needs to keep it up against Palace..........COYS
great result for Palace. defended well Zaha will probably have more joy against our fullbacks mind. We have to win
Your all forgetting we have the power of the force from this match thread......easy peasy it will be.
Romeu did an excellent job at home to Benteke last season. Never tried to compete with him in the air - left that to the CBs - but followed him everywhere so that he could constantly pick up the second ball after Benteke knocked it down etc. Same thing again this time would be very nice. Do that, and combine it with not letting Palace counter-attack us. Easier said than done I appreciate, but we've let Leicester and Spurs cut us to shreds on the counter recently. They might 'only' be Palace, but give them respect. Keep an extra person or two behind the ball, don't try a risky crossfield pass when our FBs are up the pitch etc. If Palace are without Sakho and Dann, they will give up chances over 90 minutes. Behind Zaha, Benteke and Townsend (force him wide by the way, don't be stupid to show him inside), they are a poor team.
Is Cedric available for this one? Is Bertie still injured? Is Lemina 100% or has he suddenly gone from hero to zero? Was Spurs Targett's only game of the season? Is Gabbi homesick or has he really pissed off MP2? How did McQueen play against Man U? Will Liverpool buy Forster? Will Theo make his second debut?
In no particular order: Yes, No, Perhaps, Maybe, Of course, I don't know, Time will tell, I'm not sure (Hey, it's a quiet news day)
Hopefully Zaha will be banned for his latest dive in today's game. He really is disgraceful and the referees are daft enough to be fouled by him week in, week out
