Isn’t stupidity defined as doing the same thing wrong again and again . Surely no one can be that stupid and why would you want to be. Can the intention be to completely wreck the club. We will soon know for certain.
Best weve played for a good while that first half. Fitness showed again second half. Toral should have been hooked ten minutes earlier. I've only see their goal in real time and I thought it was a disgraceful dive. He did exactly the same dive five minutes later and the ref told him to get up. Evandro can't have been fit, because we needed him second half. The team were nackered. Absolutely out on their feet. Only Irvine out of the full midfield and forwards had any legs after 70 minutes. Strange he had a preseason at a different club isn't it... I'm more than happy with nige in charge.
It wasn't a dive. Hector clipped his ankles. A soft penalty but only because Hector shouldn't have been anywhere near his ankles. Everything else I agree with. We now look like a football team rather than a collection of individuals. The damage done under Slutsky is being reversed but it'll take time.
Looked like a dive to me too, it was a stupid challenge from Hector, but it looked like he rode it then thought I can get a penalty here and threw himself to the deck. Always likely with a daft challenge like that though. Henriksen was appalling, he didn’t manage a single touch for the first fifteen minutes he was on, we might as well have been playing with ten men.
I predict that Ehab’s going to completely **** up another transfer window and you’ll continue to stick up for him while he’s doing it.
We were ****e under Slutsky and we are ****e under Adkins , don't see much difference . Doesn't matter if we should have won this game or that game , league table doesn't lie. 4 points off the bottom and in massive trouble if we lose next 2 away games
It'll be a tragedy if we wait and wait and wait thensell Growshitski and scramble around on the last day looking for scraps. If he's going to sell then sell early and get new recruits in as soon as. First half hector looked like the palyer I saw for reading. But he has that mistake in him and we've seen too many of them. Got to be replaced, shame as his pace is an asset. Tomori is looking really good. Aina still looks like the drugged up kid out of scary movie.
We could and should have taken 6 pts this week but for some terrible misses midweek and instead of going 3 up today which we could easily have done instead we give a daft penalty away letting them back into the game. We do seem to tire easily second half and to me its down to a poor pre season. However getting a teams fitness levels up in the middle of the season is difficult because doing to much can have a negative affect Even though we let two goals in today I don't feel has though every time the other side attack they are going to score which I did before. Also when a new manager comes in and you inherit a squad with the injuries we have plus you have not had a chance to strengthen then apart from giving a team confidence and organising them better there isn't much more you can do. Let's hope he is given a chance in January to change a few things because he might not have brought the results we all wanted but I think we are heading in the right direction.
Thing is, by what definition is Ehab gonna **** up the window? Yes by all reasonable people’s views of what is required, but based on asset stripping maybe not. Ehab is a ****ing **** so don’t expect any substantial support for Nige, and Bowen and Growshitski will be sold. It’s ****ing depressing but we’ve got another season at least of this.
Every manager says the chairman wants the best for the club but seriously how do they come to that opinion? They need the job so go along with ehabs tosh, what they don’t appear to get is ehab wants the best for the club....owners. It’s embarrasing they all come out with the same ****e when to anyone with half a brain it isn’t true
I don't think we've got enough left to justify another season. Once Bowen and Grosicki's are gone, hopefully they have raised enough to justify a sensible and attractive sale price. I think next season is a massive risk and potential liability they will want to avoid at all costs.
You're not the first to say this, but it does make me smile. Adkins was lauded for not showing his hand over injuries, yet it seems he should be most eloquent and forthright over acquisitions... We might, we might not, but do we seriously expect him to tell the world as it is? It's the Allams, let's just wait and see...
This is a very obvious point but I don't recall seeing it stated as bluntly, or as well, as you have done. But a manager/coach at this level knows their terms and shouldn't look for excuses - Adkin hasn't, he needs more time, there is a glimmer in a peasouper...
