He's contacted to Chelsea you know... <laugh><laugh>... next season he'll be at Charlton, but knowing our luck the **** wit in charge of recruitment will make him a priority signing..

Great first half, Fulham were not in it. Predictably the penalty gave them momentum and that was it. I still think overall we are better then under Slutsky but after listening to Adkins talking to Burnsie on RH after the game I am not expecting any exciting new additions in January. When pushed Adkins was very cagey, he said he had identified players he wanted and it was up to the owners to sort the finance out and made a big point of "but players will have to want to come here". That either means he knows what a reputation the owners have and that will put players off or that he is getting that line out there early on so it can be his excuse when nothing happens. Reality is he can identify all the players he wants but Ehab will probably not stump up the cash.

Any game Hector plays we won’t win. The guy is so inconsistent and a accident waiting to happen. He made exactly the same foul in the same place not so long ago. Adkins has obviously told him to not give the ball away and hit it into the stands he can’t do that right at times.

Then there’s Henriksen, I do believe Adkins feels the same way as us all but here goes. He’s absolutely dogsh1te. Nobody can change my opinion. The fella steals a living, when the opposition have the ball he marks space but is 10 yards away from everything and even further away from the ball, infact he’s exactly the same when we have the ball an all. I wouldn’t mind if he had the ability of Gosiscki or Toral but he doesn’t. Find someone stupid enough to buy him!

My 3rd disgruntlement is obviously our boy wonder owner. The reason we are so unfit, concede so many goals and points in the last 20 minutes is simply because they aren’t fit enough. That’s put down to buying players who aren’t used to playing lots of games, buying them with no pre season behind them and useless management.

Anyway to the positives. I thought Tomori was excellent he made a potential 30 million player look average. Put him the centre please and buy a right back and left back. Irvine and Dicko where also outstanding, never stopped running, tackling and never gave up. The rest where ok bar maybe Stewart, he’s 23 going on 33. So slow and laid back.

All very negative which in some regards was a game we played very well.

On a side note I'm glad we missed out on Kalas. He looked bang average.

Most definitely a game of two halves, first half great, 2 up, in control, then a stupid penalty & subs changed that game. No need for the stupid penalty, just shepherd the player out. Toral was one of the best players, fair enough if he was tiring, but replaced with Henriksen, who offers nothing, no problem bringing him on if 3 nil up, but not the player needed when backs are up against the wall. You could see we were visibly lightweight in midfield when he came on, we were over run. Fulham manager definitely won battle of the subs.

Very frustrating to see yet another top half team and we looked the better side, particularly first half.

I don’t know if I’m reading too much into the post match, but January doesn’t sound like it’s going to be flooded with signings. Nige was very cryptic, very defensive.

He should have said 'I've got a shed load of cash to splash on any player that fancies a move to Hull, just name think of a price, double it, add a bit more and we'll still cough up'

Just home, still feeling traumatized, what was more alarming was Nigel's interview with Burnsy on blunderside.Burnsy asked him directly "do you expect the owner to back you in the transfer window" dodged the question and became very defensive regards the subject, think we're in for our 3rd transfer window **** up.

Did we expect anything less with the Allams in charge?

I'm so cynical that I wouldn't have put it past Ehab to have asked Nigel how much is the minimum he needs to spend in order to finish 21st

I find it amazing Nigel would come here without his eyes wide open. There are some good players here but not a good squad. He must have known that. He can improve the fitness of his players and clearly is doing so. I am not a manager but it is clear to anyone that we need a centre half. What we have is not good enough for the season. He MUST have been given that if nothing else. If there is no recruitment what is the point in Lee D ? I presume he active in selling as well which might be the real reason he has been brought in. Without additions in Jan I firmly believe we will be down there come May. There again I didn’t expect too much anyway. Shame really when you consider this is the best run club in the country.

Your post is exactly what was asked many times when slutsky was appointed. Nige would have had a better idea than Lenny but ehab has gone for managers that need us rather than we need them therefore they get he job on his terms

Someone with more brains than Boy Wonder could actually manage a transition into new ownership much better - OK I imagine they've been honest with Adkins about the objectives and Adkins has been told to be evasive with questions by the media about transfers. His remit is clearly to keep us up but we're walking blindfold into the abyss..

2-2 would have been acceptable if the 3 of Brum, Bolton and Sunderland hadn't won and it was us who'd come back to snatch a point
