    I think SCOTCH MYST (3.00) is a good thing on the AW today and have doubled it up with STAR ASCENDING (3.30). Only problem is that having now checked I see Scotch Myst is the second leg of Alex "trainstopper" Hammond's daily double (along with Mr Carbonator). Oh dear.

    Through the card at Southwell;
    Sunhill Lad
    Crystal Deauville
    The Great Wall
    Song Of Love (EW)
    Penny Dreadful (EW)
    Scotch Myst
    Star Ascending

    One that catches my eye today and if all 8 go to post will be an ew bet is BROTHER TIGER 2.25 Southwell. He is coming back from a nice 125 day break which will hopefully sharpened him up going against horses that are running week in week out. Was on PIAZON last week but he seems to lose the race by missing the break. BT has a good record in class 4 races over this distance and it wasn't too long ago he was winning in class 2 events. Also think being drawn in stall 1 could be favourable too. BROTHER TIGER @ 13/2.

    After 17 successive losers Willie Mullins finally has a winner. Desperate Christmas for Closutton but I'm sure they will be firing come March.

    Monalee may well win half the track here but he is very short and I think Jury Duty offers a bit of e/w value, especially with 8 runners.

    That looks like that will be that for Faugheen. Such a shame a great goes out with a whimper following an injury blighted 2 years.

    Does Yorkhill get routed to the Champion Hurdle instead of the QMCC or JLT?
