Good morning all from a wet and cold with a sprinkle of snow trodden Northampton, another win another three points and enough threads going and opinions shared regarding the performance and quality of the opposition and worth noting it is the first time this season that we have come from behind so moving on from that....

    1) Saiz could have made yesterday’s game but the coach didn’t wish to risk him, Thomas did say that Saiz will be lining up to face Birmingham. Do you think he should come straight back in? I’d be amazed if anyone said no...

    2) Fans are worried Alioski seems to have dropped some form since switching to the left. When Saiz returns which three do we play behind the striker?
    http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/12/26/leeds-united-fans-not-convinced-by-ezgjan-alioskis-performance/
For me Hernandez left, Saiz middle and Alioski back on the right, we need two defensive midfielders to play our system and with 4 back to back wins I can’t see us changing formation or making too many squad changes, basically I’d drop Cibicki to the bench.

    3) Via social media, fans are rounding on Luke Ayling, is it time to play Berardi at RB yes or no? If yes Anita, Dallas, Alioski (he has played there) or BJ - My opinion is why change a defence that has looked pretty solid as a unit.

    4) Who’s back at work today and who can gloat they are still off until the new year? I’m working tomorrow and a trip to Liverpool (work related) on Friday.

Morning all. Don't get the criticism of Ayling. He's an attacking defensive player and helps to create chances with his build up play. Full backs who do both excellent defensive duties and good attacking play surely don't exist? We'd lose the build up play on the right if we made him play defensively or switched fullback.

On Saiz, was suspicious he was being rested for a January transfer but haven't seen any rumours yet.

Good Morning Rik and co from a dull Bardsey
I was pleased with the result and the results of Villa Cardiff Wolves I said yesterday that Cardiff would drop out of the top 6 by seasons endso yesterdays result was
    just the thing for me
I saw Cibricki for first time and was pleased for him seems an intelligent player with pace
Lasonga looks totally unfit but I think he would have scored in the first half when Roofe wasn't tall enough to get his head behind the ball
Looking forward to singing a striker a left back and showing the door to BJ Klitch and loan out Sacko and Grot pity the Japanese player can't join us just yet

Morning Mike, I’m not even slightly impressed with Lasogga, I’d send the same ones out as you suggested. Who are your first choice three behind a striker as things stand? Who would you drop? Saiz, Cibicki, Alioski or Hernandez??
Totally agree, Felix isn’t the greatest in goal but his distribution is top notch, he’s number one outlet is Ayling more times than not. Alioski plays better on the right, is that because Ayling is behind him and not Berardi? Is Cibicki looking good partly due to this too?

I’ve seen it described as tippy tippy football, I call it keeping possession patient build up when nothing much is on...

We rely on Saiz probably too much so good if we can give him a little rest mid season, get him back in now, maybe keep Cibicky in and let Alioski have a little rest.

Morning all. I agree with Chesh - keep Cibicki in, nice to have options like Alioski and Roofe on the bench, assuming PML starts up front.

One other thing, assuming Phillips has learned from being dropped I'd have him back in in place of O'Kane.

Eunan is so inconsistent - clever like an old pro one minute, needlessly giving away free kicks on the edge of our box the next, drifting in and out, dropping too deep. There's an intelligent, capable midfielder in there, but now is not the time for Leeds to have to go looking for him.<ok>

Good afternoon from wetherby services hernandez has earned his starting place so keep him in the attacking left side .as for sacko play him in the cup game and klich.loan too many out and we lose options .for me the cup does not matter so play the reserves .
Lassoga just looks like a big lump of lard.to play four four two a better hold up striker is needed.the lad cant jump looks like a pub team player fitness wise.
Midfield and okane is not for me but im not the coach.
Millwall will be a test for us i reckon.

Heyup :emoticon-0148-yes: For me Alioski needs a rest and does perform best on the right. Keep Cibicki in with Alioski on the bench for Birmingham. Saiz and Pablo behind LASSOGA before Roofe as we need muscle when playing a lone striker. Roofe on the bench until we need some finesse as long as he gets fed balls to run onto like Viera's yesterday. Felix is proving to be the keeper most of us thought we had, but for me Ayling needs a rest and playing the bottom of the league is the best time to do it. Ayling has spent more time ahead of Cbicki in the last 3 games, which leaves us vulnerable. Play Berardi at RB for this one and then it has to be Anita or CBJ on the left. Berardi had his worst game for a while yesterday

underestimate Brum at our peril, one of the better teams to come Leeds, don't know what's going on with them, but would be very happy to get a 1-0 win.

First train back from Leeds to London this morning and straight into work today and then working without a day off until next Thursday but can't moan as then I'm off on holiday for a month.

Fixture wise would be happy for Saiz to be rested for next game if we were playing better at the moment. Glad we're picking up points but we need to start picking up performances now in readiness for February/March where as someone pointed out on twitter yesterday we've got a very tough couple of months

    FEBRUARY
    3: Cardiff City (h) - 15:00

    10: Sheffield United (a) - 15:00

    17: Bristol City (h) - 15:00

    20: Derby County (a) - 19:45

    24: Brentford (h) - 15:00

    MARCH
    3: Middlesbrough (a) - 15:00

    6: Wolverhampton (h) - 19:45

    10: Reading (a) - 15:00

    17: Sheffield Wednesday (h) - 15:00

    31: Bolton Wanderers (h) - 15:00

Survive that still in contention then I'll be very pleased.

Not too bothered who goes gets the bench spot for next game from Alisoki, Hernadez, Seabiscuit but I'm still keen to see a game where Seabiscuit is providing crosses for Lasogga

Lokks like Feb & March is full on tough games. Agree that Brum are team full of class players but they are bottom for a reason and I think its because the clubs fooked at the top. Bottom of the league eans its the best time to rest players and try new things especially when we need everyone in the following months. Every team we play will be up for it because we are Leeds Utd, we need to pace ourselves unless we are bringing in a striker, left back and creative defensive midfielder

Having a wee chuckle to myself reading the descriptions of Soggy's fitness (which I agree with, I might add!). Reminds me of a certain Mark Viduka who got similar abuse throughout his time with us. But what a player!

Bottom line - it's a results business. If Lasogga manges to stick in a goal every two games, and in the process doesn't move his arse off the penalty spot, most of us would take that. :D

Deffo horses for courses, though. Soggy & Roofy each have a lot to offer, but the team must learn to provide the right kind of service to each, 'cos they have such widely differing requirements. Doc's comment about wanting Cibicki to get the chance to cross for Soggy quite tickled to me. Might be quite a combination! Hope so :D

Would say as you're an Estate Agent then at least it can't be a heart attack for obvious reasons.... But hope you're feeling OK soon and nothing serious and quickly gets sorted
