Just seen on the BBC that Arsenal are linked once again to Eden Hazard and after watching this kid for a few years in Ligue 1, I've been constantly impressed with him since his debut as a 16 year old.

Whilst I'd probably explode if he signed for Newcastle (no chance what so ever) I do hope to be able to see him the Premier League where his undoubted quality will shine.

If he signs; he's the one opposition player I'd always watch.

What about you? Which opposition player are you looking out for?

  2. Lille fans will be pissed off if Hazard is sold.

    Gervinho, Hazard and Cabaye...

Must admit I always enjoy watching Silva at Citeh. Just really clever and I think the current way the spanish midfield players are taught makes them an interesting watch. Previously I always looked forward to watching players like Okocha, Scholes and Kinklazdze so maybe I'm just a sucker for play makers.

A random one, but I like the look of the lad Jarvis at Wolves, I know he's not in the 'top top class' category but I think given a chance he could develop into a very good winger. Quick, direct, good control and most importantly for a winger (take note Jonas) he can cross.

  8. Rooney looks immense. Look forward to seeing how he;s going to do this season.

He's better than Aguero and at his best IMO he's one of the best players in the world. His passing, crossing, deliveries, shooting, work rate and skill are all immense.

IMO he could get in any team in the world, even Barca.

He's better than David Villa IMO.

Aguero and Silva! Both magicians but in different ways.

Top of my head..... Schweinsteiger, Honda, Kaka and Kagawa. In the premiership, would have to be Bale and Aguero.

Jones, Smalling, Cleverly, Young, Rooney. Half the reason i reckon Spain are so good is a lot of their first team are at Barca and get to play together 60+ games a season already so their understanding is that much better. so hopefully in a few years we'll have a better international squad because they're all lumped together.

Always liked Lahm of the German team, had a great partnership with Schweinsteiger in the last World Cup. Plus it's a position we could do with strengthening.
