Not sure about the ref, bit quick to give decisions to BC. Flint could/should have seen another yellow
Really tight at the bottom..needed a win today to get some distance.we just cant seem to keep a lead or clean sheet
Well we didn't lose and the way everyone's been whacking off over BC not a terrible result...we don't need teams below us going on a run though
7 points above drop zone but if we'd held on we would have been 14th.... Still would have taken a point before kick off....
Agreed We've done well against the sides at the top, it's at the other end where we've dropped points
Season half way done. If we replicate our form from the first half we will end up on 52 points, one less than last season.
The ref was really awful in the second half, he gave them free-kicks constantly, the penalty was a disgraceful mistake and then he didn't send off Flint when he should have. A good performance from our lads despite the ref.
We didn't lose, the giant killers only managed a point with the help of a dodgy ref and a dodgy pen, they still haven't beaten us at ours in my lifetime. Still a kick in the nuts, but most would have taken the point. No defeats in the next 3 is my prediction.
Sat in school end today due to offer instead of PU so very different view. Flint and Barker were actually too high in the air often. Big fellas who are hard to beat on the air. Real pity about the pen since they were having the sort.of.dau when nothing was going for them and unlikely to have scored from open play. Pavel was immense today. Not sure if he was officoal MOTM but he was for me. How close was Smith at the other end? Too far for.me.to see.
About a yard wide but just got in front of his man & should have at least got it on target, strange game played well in patches but then panic set in, changing the front two made no difference, thought samuels did ok, Pawel yes had good game.
I was in the lower school end too. Weird perspective as used to sitting in the upper loft. Couldn't say one way or the other about the pen, but Smithies kept us in it over all. Made some key saves. Great to be back at Loftus Road and a good point all things considered.
As someone who was there......we slightly shaded the first half and pleased to say at times, with quick one touch passing involving the usual suspects, we actually looked good. But let’s not kid ourselves, if it wasn’t for our fantastic, brilliant, amazing keeper.....we could and should of lost this. If we lose him this transfer window, I can see us dropping very quickly. And I’m not being a ‘doom and gloom’ merchant....just being realistic and honest..... Oh yeah, a striker who can actually score goals wouldn’t hurt either.
