2.25 Ascot- THE WORLDS END- 12/1 Looked the winner in last years Albert Bartlett before falling 2 out, then confirmed his talent when winning the Sefton hurdle at aintree a few weeks later. Was well backed all week when a disappointing 8th at haydock just under a month ago howver the run was probably needed and can always forgive one bad run especially first time out in the season. Looks to have bags of improvement in him. He has similar levels and profile of form with Thomas Campbell and one 11/2 and one is 12/1 and can’t work out why the gap. UKWIMH I would be worried about as he looked to have no excuses last time in the long distance ok he was giving weight away but had his trip and match fitness on his side and with his quality you think he should have been able to cope with that against the winner who is no chance whatsoever ever a long distance hurdle contender. And TWE is too big a price to not have a punt on
I like your reasoning Wooly, but having ditched a few of my cliff horses last week, Sam Spinner, having done me a favour LTO has to be added in! On all logic this is Uno's race to lose - and if you are prepared to forgive a bad run to World's End then surely Uno's run last time is equally forgiveable? My selection demolished a quality field last time, but on official ratings has to have improved over 28lb to beat the favourite. That's without taking the others into account! It is a fascinating race though and I am really looking forward to it
There's an article on the Beeb website about Sam Spinner's trainer, Jedd O'Keefe Reebs. Seems he's been through the mill a bit in recent times. Haven't had a bet on this race but shall be rooting for yours.
Harry is going to be any better my guy will. It was his first run of the season too and he needed the first run of the season too last year plus forgive the run lto due to the bottomless ground and being top weight Sam Spinner and Thomas Campbell have both won just a couple of handicaps the prices don’t make any sense
Hi all, been a member for ages and often look in on the daily thread.Ive had the pleasure of having shares in a few horses with Jedd and he’s absolute gent and a good trainer to boot,I know for a fact he thinks the world of Sam Spinner.Hes very unlucky not to be unbeaten this season,Jedd’s not one to tilt at windmills and I’d be suprised if he doesn’t at least place, good luck all
Haydock today for me, two shorties so I've stuck them in a double. Both win. 12.25 Born Survivor 6/4 13.00 Cap Soleil 6/4 Double pays over 5/1. GL if you play.
Good chance as do a few of them, i'd be surprised if UKWIMH wins and that price is disgusting considering how competitive the race is, never been his biggest fan. Same as might bite, hilarious price considering the opposition. Would happily lay both and guarantee at least one will get beat
Just the one for me today: Ascot 1.50pm Red Devil Star 11/1 each way. Has won at Ascot before and i think he can run a big race off a good mark today. Maybe I am swayed a little by the name following Bristol Citys' crushing defeat of Manure in the Carabao cup on Wednesday..
Morning 11.50 Haydock-Isaacstown Lad @ 2-1 [Betfair Sports] Get only bet out of the day before midday, then start the Xmas shopping!
MAN OF PLENTY 80/1 Went in my tracker at Sandown but would most likely prefer more of a test. Damn sure they are readying this one for a proper job. Most likely not today but its turn isnt too far away.
