Can any of you lads explain how the league structure works? All this Myton and Wyke business, which is higher? Or do they run sort of parallel? :S

I've just left U18s football having played in U18 Div 3 (bottom) for the last two years and need to find a men's team but I don't know which league I should be looking at.

Any info on this would be appreciated <ok>

Mytons higher, but the quality of football is a lot better and you get more time on the ball. I'd look there. As for Hutch, I shall se you tomorrow at 6 for this friendly

Myton and Wyke are the same for Adult football. In kids football it used to be Myton (top division), Wyke (2nd division) and Drypool (bottom division) for each age group, but in adult football it is mainly based on location...I presume. We are in Wyke 3 and play mainly against North Hull and West Hull sides, and only play East Hull sides in the cup.

This is correct! Divisions 1-6 are split into wyke and myton based on location and the premier is an almagamation of east, west and north hull.

    Correct above post.

Loads of teams have folded because in your second year as a club you have to be charter standard now.

i think around 14 teams dropped out from East Hull alone.

Theyve totally shuffled the leagues, with all due respect theres some not very good teams in the league above us, we've played two from the league above and beat one 7-1 and another 9-0, it'l take a couple years for it all to sort itself out again.

yep il see you at 6 matt, did you get in touch with gary, hoping to be there for the first half myself
