Tony Thorpe? Now that really devalues the concept.

I have to go back much further and nominate two, Arthur Jefferson and Tony Ingham. God bless them both, they were both 100% R's for most of their life, and gave everything to the club.

Arthur was a lovely guy, and there was just no one who could clear danger like him. If necessary, right over the stands roof! Ran a Fish & Chip shop after retiring as a player, along with "Smudger" Smith.

Tony Ingham, I think the following tribute says it all:

Happy Festive Season to all fans, and here's hoping for a better 2018!

Alan Wilks usually a stand in for Rodney but in his own right a very good player.Highlight his 5 goals against Oxford in the League Cup 1967.

Alan Wilks. Good shout. I was at Highbury in 1968 when he came on as a sub in the second half and scored with his first kick after 12 seconds. We still lost 2-1 though.

Have we all agreed that Ready, Collins and Thorpe should be nowhere near the Forever R's?
We could be inducting them for years at this rate.

No, I don't agree. John Collins in particular is an excellent choice in my opinion. Thorpe is a bit of a stretch, though.

Ok, for one of his middle names alone, I concede...........John William Bashley Collins.
