The start against the mancs was just ridiculous wasn't it? Within 10 minutes you've given the game away and you asked Mourinho to defend for 80 minutes which he did.
I don't think it will bother Ox one way or the other, he's only 24 but has loads of experience behind him having been playing Prem. football since he was 17
Arsene Wenger questions Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's Liverpool starting place Arsene Wenger says he is confident his players are motivated to beat Liverpool, ahead of Friday's game against Jurgen Klopp's side Arsene Wenger has questioned Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's place in the Liverpool side, insisting no player can "sit in their rocking chair" and be guaranteed a first-team starting place. Oxlade-Chamberlain returns to the Emirates on Friday evening for the first time since moving to Liverpool from Arsenal for £35m in the summer, live on Sky Sports Premier League. please log in to view this image Oxlade-Chamberlain has started just five Premier League games for Liverpool since switching from Arsenal in the summer The 24-year old made 132 Premier League appearances for Wenger during a six-year spell and the Arsenal boss has warned "every player has to fight" to redeem their spot at big clubs. "Is he sure of a place there? You are sure of a place nowhere," said Wenger. "In a big club, you have big competition with some good players. That is absolutely normal. What do you want to be, a big player and not have to fight? please log in to view this image The 24-year old joined Liverpool for £35m in the summer "You can't be a big player, sit in your rocking chair and say, 'I do not want to fight'. It doesn't work like that. Every player has to fight." Oxlade-Chamberlain has struggled to cement a starting place in Jurgen Klopp's team since switching London for Merseyside in August, with just five league starts this term while 10 appearances have come from the bench. Despite the England international's summer move, Wenger insists he was keen to tie the midfielder down to a contract extension and expects him to be a key factor for his country in the future. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-oxlade-chamberlains-liverpool-starting-place
Ox has to start. After a motm display (apparently) against Bournemouth, being benched after would dispell the idea of playing into the first 11 and would let him know he is not one of Klopps favourite.
It's a phone. It's suppose to make a noise. That's how you know someone is ringing you. Vibration mode is for women and homosexuals. Ah, fair point Biscan
It has been over 28 years since Arsenal and Liverpool faced off on a Friday night. And whilst the stakes could never be as high as they were on that night at Anfield in May 1989, when Michael Thomas snatched the title from Liverpool’s grasp for Arsenal in the dying seconds, Lee Dixon is expecting another classic encounter. With memories of August’s 4-0 humiliation at the hands of Jurgen Klopp’s side fresh in the mind Arsenal will be desperate to make amends. However they face a Liverpool side in outstanding form, undefeated since their loss away to Tottenham in late October. Meanwhile Arsenal have struggled to reach top gear over an uninspiring run of recent games, though they remain fifth and just a point off Friday’s opponents. In the video above Dixon previews what looks set to be the perfect start to the Premier League’s festive games… https://www.standard.co.uk/sport/fo...salah-and-outsmart-jurgen-klopp-a3725541.html
TBH The thought that if you keep us quiet a while is ok but we are scoring a lot later in the first half. IMO we run out of steam and ideas about 60 odd mins. its not realistic for arsenal to just keep it tight.
the ask that was put on the players and staff was too much. the arsneal celebrations I know were for them but it was no achievement beating a bunch of zombies. the everton lads in the final should also have tonked us really. its a testamanet to character we refused to be beaten
