Would you say that this hampers the defamation case against the policemen?

He hasn't admitted he put the photos on the computer, and the police haven't claimed it was definitely him, so I doubt there will be a defamation action

Why? I've never mentioned a defamation action, it was you! I suspect Green will do a Mandelson , and come back after a suitable pause

I'm now thinking his move on Kate Maltby was sweet talk to persuade her to man his office for an hour, so he had time to himself...

Labour MPs have voted against the proposed cut in stamp duty, despite backing it in their manifesto just six months ago. Overall, 228 Labour MPs voted against the second reading of the Finance Bill which includes the tax cut first outlined in the Budget. Shadow Treasury minister Jonathan Reynolds admitted this “was a Labour policy included in our manifesto for the June 2017 general election”, yet Labour MPs queued up to oppose the tax cut: Alison McGovernsaid “it is simply the wrong policy priority’”, Grahame Morris whinged: “legitimate concerns have been expressed about the stamp duty proposals, which are feared to be the wrong solution”. And Stella Creasy said the stamp duty cut would: “do little for [her] constituents.” Student fees, stamp duty – is there anything Labour told voters at the election that still stands?

    is that true stroller

Just as a matter of interest, I wonder if there are lists of Labour MPs that are also landlords and voted this way, or indeed of there's a list of Tory MPs that are landlords that voted for the reforms?

Yes. If he was foolish enough to do so, and Goldie has nailed the potential evidential flaws, the coppers if properly advised would elect for jury trial. He's on a hiding to nothing. As a politician and one who has been found out for 'misleading' statements (some might say downright lying, I couldn't possibly comment) he does not have a reputation which can be lowered in the public's opinion. Certainly not because we might snigger and think that he spends hours ****ing when he should be reading his papers.

Add to that the fact that we agreed previously that being partial to a bit of legal porn makes him no different to the majority of the right thinking people (the male half) how wold he prove the damage to his reputation?
