Man City next, what do you think..?

    Semi-final draw
    • Chelsea v Arsenal
    • Manchester City v Bristol City
I'll say it now if I am allowed, I'm sticking up for Lee Johnson against Manchester City as well as the team naturally.

Perhaps he would share that 450 quid bottle of wine. What a dream, and let's keep those thoughts going all the way.

Looking at some of the Man U boards, the Man U fans seem to be rather complimentary of us, but there are loads of Man City fans taking the piss for losing to a championship team.
Let’s hope Guardiola does as piss-poor job researching us as Jose clearly did.
They think they can brush us aside - Wolves made them work harder than anyone else in all comps this season and we scored 3 against them at theirs.
Bring em on - bitter blues!!!

Gulf of class between the Prem and our league is a MYTH.

How come we have beaten 4 Prem teams now then - including the number 2 team?
Watford and Man U are both good benchmarks for our ability

In a one off we could beat them, especially if they fielded the same side as against Leicester, however over 2 legs it will be super tough.

Our best hope is the 2 leg semi gets wedged between some key Premier and Champions league games for Man City.

The next round of the Champions League isn't until February. For the first game they are at home to Burnley in the FA Cup on the Saturday before and Liverpool away on the Sunday after.

one off games are always different, that's why so many "minnows" get such results in the cups. But I agree Watford a mid table prem team and Man U 2nd in prem are good yardsticks.
However Stoke and Palace were both struggling teams having virtually no points CP or Stoke a point against Utd but lost to the top teams otherwise......

I would hope if there was a virtual league of the bottom we will say 10 as opposed to 8 half, the division and top 10 of the championship city would manage to finish in the top half of it and maybe even top 8?
euphoria oftens clouds judgement, I've managed a life time of achievments and I am still alive although having survived a number of potentially awkward moments when the scythe was pretty close ... euphoria/adrenalin are like good hits with alcohol, and I don't mean getting rat eyed! ...

not opening the can of worms that nearly destroyed so many people/fans/supporters last season but there is an opposite for nearly everything ... love v hate is probably the best touted!
basing things on a few as opposed to many is a start and in the real context is obviously the better guide

so yes beaten 4 and its a massive boost and well done THE TEAM and LEE
