If There's no Take-Over By Next Season....

Will the boycotters still boycott, and will the S/T holders renew? What sort of future is in store for CAFC?

 

I’m taking it a season at a time. I almost buckled during the summer but couldn’t do it.

Right now my head says he will sell by the summer, and if that’s the case I’ll more than likely get a ticket.

 

I'll assume no takeover will mean there was no promotion.
A third League One season will probably be one where any progress made this season will be lost.
Ricky Holmes will almost certainly be gone. Other players will be sold too I should think, and not just youngsters.
Karl Robinson would leave as well I expect, somebody will make him an offer for a fresh start elsewhere.

Season 2018-19 in League One could well be a struggle against relegation.
I would expect a sour atmosphere inside the Valley, but probably not mass protests again - except if we are relegated. Then there would likely be some ugly confrontations. Attendance at the Valley down by another 1000, maybe 1500. The Club might consider closing the Upper West and trying to move fans downstairs or across to the almost empty East stand.

So let's hope there is a takeover, by next summer at the very latest!
I still have not given up all hope of new owners being in place before the end of January.

 

That's a gimme. It very nearly happened this season, to save money on less stewards.

 

We will just plod along as we are now.

It seems the season ticket total has bottomed out, I cannot see us losing many more as we retained the same total as last season.

As we gave Fraeye a job I reckon squirrel face should give Ivor the job. Why not? He knows his stuff and would replace Robinson nicely as the human shield.

 

I wouldn’t re-purchase a ST if Roland’s still here. Im actually enjoying my other interests it seriously runs the risk of me not buying one under a new owner.

 

I find the prospect of Roland keeping hold of Charlton outrageous. There will be the genuine possibility of him causing fatal damage, and if we can't unite to drive him out we may never recover. Atm unity among the fans is a forlorn hope.

 

Everything Roland has done has been outrageous. I think he’ll sell come the summer, but expecting several twists and turns before then.

i heard the dubai one too. not sure it's true though.

i have a ST this year, probably wont get one next year if he's still here / alive. i hate the man. he's sh1t at running a football club and we're just not competitive under him. we never will be.
