I have resigned myself to Championship football next season, and to be honest I'm also looking forward to the rats in the boardroom losing £100+ Million PL pot!............ <ok>

Going down is not a problem for me but going down with the knowledge that the club is not doing anything to try and rectify things is diabolical. Every man, woman and their dog knows that you need to change the manager and not let him take charge for as long as he has....He should have gone 6 games ago ffs.....I want to see the club do something as we approach half way to give us a fighting chance and from what i saw in the first half then that gives us a lot of hope of having a good 2nd half of the season.......But Clement has to be replaced before the palace game for us to have a fighting chance....If we go down then then so be it but we fought to the end......Do the right thing and we will stay up....

Allardyce (a proven saver of clubs in the relegation zone)has gone to Everton and turned their season around in 4 games, Pulis is Welsh, is proven in the Prem, is out of a job at the moment, why don't Swansea take a punt on him until the end of the season?
Even if you did get(sadly)relegated under Pulis its only going to happen with your current manager anyway, and surely the likes of Pulis is a better option for the rebuilding job needed for a comeback.

Swansea appear to be standing still and accepting their fate, from the board right down to the playing staff, sad but true unfortunately.

Swansea need to act now, you're going down unless you get someone in capable of grinding out results.

I haven't seen any of the game, but whilst there are some extremely poor refs out there, it's the players who dive that are ruining these games.

IMO - We've taken on to too many 'punts', employing a another *unt won't save us.
    He's Welsh, so what?
We have been obsessed with turfing out overseas managers and replacing them with inexperienced English ones - the results are plain to see.
Clement is trying the same tactics as Pulis would - hopeful howitzers from the back - with no success.
What I saw last night, in the first half, was a team that can pass the ball and keep possession for periods of play but don't have the tactics to work that through and be dangerous. We should be building on that. Once again after the half time intervention we stopped playing possession football.
TBF, when the side has been keeping possession at home the Liberty boos and hisses.

Clement is a decent manager that's had his best players sold and replaced with cheapies, it's not really his fault. That said he has to go though, once the crowd turns it's hard to get them back onside, who can turn it around though?

Fair enough, but your point on Swansea being obsessed with English managers, can't remember the Swans having many of those in recent years, I know Swansea take pride in playing good football but at times like this a defensive minded coach wouldn't go amiss, the time to play eye candy football is when the ship is steady and in safe waters.
But it's just an opinion mate and no offence was/is intended.<ok>

As he said he hasn't seen last night's match, I think he's talking generally rather than specifically <cheers>

You know when you pay for something over the internet and it’s not fit for purpose, you have a legal right to a refund of your money. Shouldn’t the same apply in football? We shelled out vast sums of money for Sanches and Clueless as they were purported to be top footballers, which is definitely not the case as they can’t string two passes together, can’t tackle and can’t pass the ball.

Got to bed at 4am this morning after an 11 hour round trip through heavy traffic and fog to watch the likely lads take on a rejuvenated Everton side, who since dumping their top manager have shot up the table with big Sam in charge.
After a curry and pint in the Hot Wok near the ground, it was time to sample the local Wetherspoons beer and it didn’t disappoint at The Thomas Frost pub. Bud Lite £1.99 a pint, Ruddles and John Smiths the same, and packed out with friendly Evertonians.
On to the match and an early surprise as we played well and dominated Everton, took the lead and............committed hara-kiri just before half time after conceding from a harshly judged penalty by that crap ref Moss after Rooney’s shot struck the post to fall straight in the path of an Everton player, Calvert. Second half we never turned up (what on earth does Clement say to them at half time?) and it was all Everton. The obligatory goal from an ex player and another penalty that should have been a free kick outside the area ended in another heartbreaking defeat.
Barely 200 of our fans turned up and our dwindling hard core support had no early Xmas present for their loyal following except a long silent journey home to reflect on probable Championship football next season.
One consolation was the team had to overnight in a hotel, flight cancelled because of fog, and they finally arrived at Cardiff airport midday, I’d have made some of them walk, we know who they are, but others at least tried.

Fair play for making that trip mate <ok>

Glad you enjoyed the local hospitality even if the result wasn’t what you’d hoped for.

The penalty on the stroke of HT killed you imo. If you go in 1-0 it might have been different but it always felt inevitable that we’d win the game from that point on,
