I rate Bellamy as a player but he is injury prone. He also has a big ego that can disrupt the dressing room. I say there must be better options.
The short answer is no. The long answer is no. If we recap those I think you will find the answer is, NO!
not at all, disruptive and greedy springs to mind. Pretty sure he'll see out his contract with city as he's probably making a bomb
I rate him, but don't think it's wise. As already stated he is injury prone, but I also think he is to old for the way Liverpool are moving on. I would rather see a youngster come in with the ability to become great.
I would sign Bellamy no probs,as he can provide quality in both wide areas and up front By the way,are the Daily Mail suing ME as a source, I said yesterday at about 530pm that Liverpool were in for Bellamy and Coates. Now today, the Daily Mail are reporting the same thing.
Wouldn't be totally against him if he agreed to leave the golf clubs at home. He wouldn't be my first choice... especially not with Carroll at the club- I don't think it would be smart having him as a role model for Carroll. That said, if he's cheap, lowers his wage- and Kenny in his infinite wisdom thinks he is worthwhile, I wouldn't protest. I like others would prefer someone else.
Surely he doesn't have much left to offer in his tired old legs. He's not playing at City because he's not good enough for them; why would he be good enough for us?
There are plenty not getting in the city team who still have a lot left to give. After spending all those millions, Gareth Barry still graces Mancini's first XI, so that gives you a clue how good of a manager the guy is. That, and he seems to buy players simply because he can, rather than because they fit into his system or are better than what he already has. They have about 47 attacking midfield/winger types. Not saying Bellamy is good enough, but that he shouldn't be judged by the fact he can't get into City's team.
Sky Bet: We have suspended betting on Craig Bellamy to return to Liverpool after a number of large bets today So there may be something in it, personally i would love to see him go somewhere else (been linked to us for weeks but dont want him)
Never gonna happen. It never works anyway.Like when we bought Robbie back, great sentiment but nothing came of it and bellamy is hardly held in the fans affections like God was. I thought at the time it was a shame when bellamy left but in truth I hated his sneering, moaning, whinging ways and only tolerated it while he had a red shirt on.Do't want to see him back he's too old anyway when you look at the profile of others they are trying to get in.Plenty of other young hungry strikers out there I am sure.
Not really sure why we'd go for him but I'd rather we just gave Morgan a chance rather than have Bellamy around the club. He's not good enough to be a first team regular so why would we pay such high wages for a reserve player/bench warmer (Joe Cole's had that job sewn up for a while anyway). Why risk the harmony in the squad?
