I can see an interesting game, if SD puts out a young squad they will be chomping at the bit to prove themselves and earn a place in the league squad. But Rovers will be wanting a scalp.

 

Watford to win on penalties. We never progress past round 1 in this competition..............Now prove me wrong again, Rovers!!!

I've spent the last few weeks predicting that we would get poor results, and I've been right. Time to try a new tact methinks.

Watford to be three up within 25 minutes (and probably end up winning on penalties).

 

More like 3 up in 70 minutes and winning on penalties

 

I just hope we turn up and play! We need a positive result preferably over 90 minutes though. I will be going so fingers crossed

I think Rovers will win by 2 goals to one

 

I'm going no further than hoping we score. At this stage we should be looking for steps forward and a goal would in my view be a big one. I obviously want us to win, but am not sure it makes much of a difference at this stage, the proof is in the pudding as they say and our Pudding is (Iwelumo/Jenks etc - just kidding, this is very unfair given how early in the season we are, my fingers just got away from me a little). A goal may just lift spirits of all us fans and the team and provide us with a platform for the weekend, mind you we could bottom when we actually kick-off on Sunday.

Lots of youth, spirit and flexibility in this line up in my opinion, but in all honesty, what do I know? Hopefully get Baldock in by the weekend also.

 

Does that mean I parade with the players and lead them out holding the Captains hand Now that would be a sight a 16 plus stone skin head holding hands with the nights Captain

 

that would be piss funny Al might scare the opposition though,hmmmm can you do the Haka as well

Sam Badock ......... so you think he'll turn West Ham down saying "sorry boys, but Watford have offered much more money", err maybe but very unlikely IMO.

 

Elixir you have failed to mention Charlton who are also reputed to be in the bidding game,.

 

And charlton are clearly better than WFC its been proven!!!

 

Somehow if we were to be outbid for Baldock (nice by-pass by the way!) Then I would prefer it was by West Ham, once is enough by Charlton!

 

It might depend on how much he wants to play every week. West Ham have Cole, Piquionne, Nouble, Carew and Freddie Sears to fight for a place, and with only 5 subs.

At watford, on the other hand, the competition isn't quite so fierce!

 

All I want is a win. I don't care if its the scrappiest, most awful win in history, I JUST WANT A WIN.

Perhaps too much to ask?
