    Swap Tadic and Boufal around, and I'd agree that's the side I would most like to see going forward (subject to what we do in January). I wouldn't play it against Chelsea, mind, but yes right now it does appeal to me in general terms.

    Off to wedding....bloody stupid time of the year to get married. Freezing day to try and look like a wedding guest and not an eskimo.

    Problem is, so am I. We need some Ron Davies spirit today. Was anyone on here at Stamford Bridge when Ron scored 4 in a 6-2 win? We went on to gloriously just miss relegation.

    Enjoy the wedding and don't spoil it by checking the score in a public place. If you do surreptitiously glance at it while the boss is doing the "Does anyone know of .. " bit and you see that Austin has completed his hat trick to put us 5-0 up, try not to shout out "Yes". That way lies embarassment

    Edit; I have just noticed a horse called Aye Aye Charlie in the 2.30. 14/1 suggests the bookies don't rate it's chances, but I don't suppose they rate ours much either. Hope, meanwhile, springs eternal.

    Fran, ignore Lambo and his ridiculous advice to not shout when Charlie gets his hat trick... when that happens, calmly push your chair back, politely ask the gentleman next to you for assistance up on to the table (via your chair), take a deep breath, spread your arms wide and scream “I love you Charlie, you sexy beast.”

    Just hope the groom isn’t called Charlie.

    I wasn't there Lambo,but I remember exactly where I was when I heard,it was one of those "kennedy" moments.

    would say it was so I was distracted from the game, but about 7 hours of being remotely connected up to fix a couple of servers at double pay the week before Xmas sold it to me ;)
