I'd tag some Liverpool fans on that.. eating rats in a council house an all that.. but none of them are from Liverpool. Other than the one who has changed his name and I can't remember who he is or was... I actually tried to meet him when I spent the day in Liverpool a few years ago and he bailed on me.
Pork bone stew mate. It’s fecking delicious Firstly cut up two medium onions roughly (not angrily) sauté in a little olive oil then add a good heaped spoonful of smoked paprika and two tbps of honey and throw in the pork bone and brown meat off. Add one pork stock cube and two small chopped up two red thai chillies (de seeded if you’re a pussy) and one large tomato finely chopped and a Tbsp of tomato paste. Add one litre of hot water and bring to the boil briefly before bringing down to a simmer. Add thickly cut julienne of carrots and chunks of potato (amounts up to you) chop up some long green beans and throw those in too. Cook until the meat falls off the bone or until you can’t wait any longer but usually about two hours Note* salt n pepper to taste but I don’t cook with salt but add later.
