I can't even watch on Monday as I'll be doing a show that starts half hour before...........

I think we'll finish above Newcastle come the end of the season. That doesn't mean we'll stay up though.

Some are making excuses and consider a 4 - 0 hammering not too bad
I refer you my earlier post -
    Sep 24, 2016 EPL
    Swansea1-3Man City
City scored a third on the break as we were looking for an equaliser.
Fer was our top rated player. Untitled.jpg
Siggy played well but not brilliant.
Llorente was being played despite being unfit and injured.
Otherwise not a big difference in the quality of the squad.

Manchester City were also top of the league and also looking uneatable.

I suppose we did give away fewer corners!

    Sousa, Potter or Koeman please.

We were ****. Plain and simple. We don't deserve to be in the same division as Man City, never mind go on the same pitch as them.

You see guys it is not that man city were never going to lose or that they put 4 goals past us It's the way clement has us playing that tells me we may not get 24 points this season......It is negative unimaginable style of football that most other teams at the top and down the bottom can deal with very easily and 85% have and will continue to do so as long as clement is here and most championship sides will out smart Clement also.....We have no fight to speak of and no positive game plan just a plan that any pub side can do......So like i have said while Clem is here i dont care if we lose every game because if jenkins and the owners dont care then why should anyone...

Problem is Huw is concentrating on the Court case and Pearlman is focussing on the Stadium deal.......

Bright start **** result not unexpected for top billionaires that can afford to buy their place these days against the bottom team run by skinflints that dont care !
4-0 not respectable enough 44% mostly for the bright start.

Agreed Bob. That said, the case has taken up a lot of preparation time and planning, whilst I know that Pearlman has been in serious discussions re the Stadium since at least January.

I have never ever gone to any sporting event to watch the opposition before but yesterday, given that we stood absolutely no chance of getting anything out of the game, I did. So, what did you expect? Manchester City cruised passed us and never got out of second gear but watching them do it was a joy.

Just sitting watching them live and alive from the stands was exhausting. I tried to keep up with all the off the ball runners in constant motion. Some running simple and straight, others weaving and intricate, but all moved with speed and intent making it almost impossible to defend against them. Then there was the immaculate, surgical passing that cut us open, always finding the most dangerous option and ignoring the players we managed to mark-up. I've never seen a football team so choreographed yet so alert and free to take the best possible option with every single pass.

When they lost possession the whole team swarmed to win possession back and no one broke free of their sticky, rock solid defense. They were sublime all over the pitch, always a threat and defended their goal for the full 90 like the lives of their kids depended on it.

Manchester City under Guardiola are a class above every team in the prem and there is no shame at all in losing to them regardless of the scoreline because, imo, they truly are the best club team I've ever seen play football any where at any time.

As for us, I know we like it when it gets dark but its not all doom and gloom chaps. We're just 2pts measly from safety and thankfully most of the teams around us are playing just as crap as we are so there's hope. Newcastle are in free-fall, Palace are crap but lucky, WBA are very poor and I don't rate Huddersfield, Stoke or Brighton. I can't see them winning many games.

For us its all about how committed our dopey owners are to staying in the prem. If they want the big bucks it brings then they are going to have to stop being so dumb and naive. They'll have to shut down the computer that their 'soccer scouting for dummies' program is on and start looking at real life footballers to buy in January. We need real men not Avatars, to play us out of the **** the yanks have dropped us in. To do that they'll have to play a smarter game and buy some quality in the January window. I'm not so sure about them though, I don't think they have the collective intelligence to run the club effectively. Their actions so far show they're as dim as a low watt bulb, not replacing Siggy, Loriente, Cork, Kingsley, replacing quality with second-rate parts, replacing the leaders in the side with followers, overloading midfield with same type of average player, spending £8m on a training dummy and the biggest proof of all, employing Bob Bradley.

Our owners are thick as **** mixed with oats and have done nothing to show otherwise so I'm looking to the failure of clubs around us to help us out a bit because I don't think the yanks are capable of doing anything effective. Its the last resort of the desperate supporter I know, but right now its all I've got.

When we pushed them close last season they were just as ominous (later went off the boil) Siggy wasn't great, Cork was awful and Llorente was unfit and injured. There is no excuse for what we witnessed last night.
    Clement has to go.
If the owners and board went too I wouldn't complain.

Well we all knew they would win but we expected a fight and not a Man City training session. After a promising start we were back to being pretty hopeless once we’d conceded the first soft goal. Why did VDH duck, it was similar to FF’s duck for the Brighton goal, was Fab calling for it.
It was the same old Swans we’ve seen all season, gutless players and an inept manager, what did we expect.
Only Bony & Mesa can be exempt from criticism, at least they looked as if they cared. Carroll, Naughton and Ayew were terrible, & you cannot carry players in a match against a side in top form.
Where do we go from here? Bottom of the table and an in form Everton away up next before a Palace 6 pointer at home.
We know Clement should have gone months ago & now we are deep in the brown stuff because of the Boards indecisiveness. He’s still here as cocky as ever after being given a vote of confidence & the Jan window to bring players in, unbelievable..

We Need someone like Martinez style manager to get our accurate passing back on track and have a Plan A,B,and C......We can see that every team that was in deep trouble have the brains to change things by installing a new manager and their results have improved and there is us with the worst manager of all saying he needs time and is happy with him. OMG here we are just 2 games away from half way through the season and we have a measly 12 points with every single football punter saying we are dead certs to go down and it is self inflicted and will have no chance of going back up......Lessons have not been learned over the last few seasons and they only got to look at last season's teams who were in the same boat and are now at the bottom of the championship......We are a side ignoring the facts that we are the team that everyone wants to play against and nobody cares other than the fans......If we reach 24 points ill eat my hat all because of the actions of the club that they have no care what happens as long as they make money for themselves....
