He was good long ago, now it's just listening to some bitter middle-aged man being bitter about things everyone knows are **** already:

Politics, Reality TV, the Economy, Religion, the USA etc blah blah blah blah.

No offence to Dev and Toby, but he's only liked by faux-intellectuals who think he's edgy and not part of the establishment. The truth is actually that he's not funny.

I also like Tim Vine, Stuart Francis and Milton Jones. Always worth a chuckle at Bill Bailey. Dame Edna/Les Patterson often bring a chortle or two.

I struggle to find many others at all funny, including but not exclusively Romesh Ranganathan (I am grumpy, I am Indian, Eyes all over the shop), Tom Allen ("just in case you didn't know I am GAY. did I mention I was GAY, I have some observations on being GAY), Josh Widdecombe (worst Ann Widdicombe tribute act ever) and the Aussie and flid from The Last Leg, Citizen Kahn, Mrs Brown etc....

We have previously established there are hardly any funny women iirc.

Don't really have one to be honest - maybe Jerry Sadowitz because he's never sold out. Most comedians always regress after they are first popular: Kevin Bridges is a good example.

Bill Burr is just a ranting fanny - "OH LOOK AT HIM RANT ABOUT PHILLY TO THE AUDIENCE WHEN HE IS IN PHILLY OMG!"

Bill Bailey: Talking about badgers and woodland creatures isn't funny. Playing the piano and being a slightly better Tim Minchin isn't funny. Rinse and repeat.

ANY WOMAN: Not funny.

Louis CK: Apart from being a bit of a rapist, talking about how much you **** isn't funny, regardless of how often your stand up is peppered with it.

Any comedian who is a darkie / Asian etc: Impressions of their parents.

Noel Fielding: Student humour like Russell Howard with an arty hipster twat twist. Both reference a monkey on a swing as a punchline to most jokes.

The problem I have with one-line comedians is they're funny for about five minutes then they get get very, very boring. Like someone telling Christmas cracker jokes non-stop for an hour.

ps Jokes about badgers and woodlands are always funny.

 

Last Leg: ****e. Even as a spastic myself, I think it is reprehensible to shoehorn in a thalidomide baby and a one-legged 3rd generation Australian rapist to a topical comedy show, merely on the basis that the spastic quota has to be filled, regardless of content or the fact is isn't funny.

Seen plenty of Stewart Lee, Tobes. Don't find him funny. Politics is corrupt, Religion is a joke etc, Trump is a blah blah blah. Aye, Stu, we get it, mate. Take a day off.
