To be fair, I tried to soften the blow by using words like "allegedly" and "don't shoot the messenger". I'm still repaying Johnny Knuckles the money I loaned after I put a score on a Nov 30th takeover.

Yeh I don't think there was much to go crazy off and sadly the Twitter masses have ran with it. He wasn't exactly going to say "we won't get taken over, Mike's giving me 50p for the sweet shop and he's selling Lascelles"

 

I've gone through Twitter and apart from general hope and excitement, I haven't seen anything credible come up from anyone that isn't blatantly peddling fake news. Like I say I've heard what I've heard but, like Fishy & Chippy (Windy/ACS), it may come to nothing. The lads I'm talking to aren't Twitter users nor Toon fans, two points which instantly add a level of credibility. We shall see!

 

I wasn't grouping your comment in with this to be honest, after the Windy/ACS debacles (or liar-gate) I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I would never group you in with those two despicable bastards either.
In my twitter experiences they don't need anything remotely tangible to jump to the biggest conclusions. I swear a fart could turn into a North Korean missile test on there.
I live in hope, I ****ing have to, supported this ****e long enough.

 

Ahhh...that's different, the stars must be aligned in our favour, therefore I'm having a cheeky double on a 3-1 win and the takeover being announced before midnight.

Understand that #Nufc are close to agreeing a takeover by Amanda Staveley’s PCP Capital Partners group. An increased bid of around £300m has been submitted and significant progress made over last few days. No comment from either side at this stage.
