Most of us would agree that was a silly chant given lots of teams had won the old first division. Maybe the wording should have been different or just not sung it at all
I hope we rest Vardy given your fans seem hell bent on encouraging your players to cripple him. Rather we go with Iheanacho
I imagine he will get dogs abuse from the crowd... he's normally the sort who thrives on that tbh though so you'd be mad to rest him imo.
Should pick and choose who to sing it to though like yourselves I don’t like any arrogance from our fans though, we should just enjoy what we did
What do you predict tonight? Puel will have you lot fired up for sure after his poor treatment here and we'll have to be wary of the counter attack you possess. I fancy us to create against your defence though. I'm thinking score draw with one team equalising late on, would you take a point?
Anyway, fair play to Dyche and Burnley who are having a great season but think it's a bit silly all the hype about them going into the top 4 when Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs will all certainly win tonight. #Jinx
I wouldn’t disagree with a score draw, I would take a point but after Burnley won (team to chase down in 7th generally) I want the win. I’m not so confident though as we score a lot and concede a lot and you’re the opposite. I suspect it’s more likely, especially at home, that your less potent strikers will have the beating of our dodgy defence than it will for our forwards to break down your solid defence
It's a hard one to call as I think you're more than capable of frustrating us and hitting us on the break but if we can score first it might make you come out a bit more which will leave more room for us. Normally I'd take a point but our 4 games before new year are Chelsea, Spurs and United away and Hudders at home, and having failed to beat Brighton, Swansea, Hudders etc. already then we really need 3 from this imo.
We are playing differently now so not sure we’ll set up to play on the break. Puel has had us control every game (Man city aside) since he took over. I hate possession as a stat but 62% away from home on Saturday shows the difference in style after the last two managers. I’m not sure our defence is solid enough to hold out and play on the break either. We’ve scored early in most games too other than Newcastle where we came back to win anyway. I think it’ll be close but we have a crap record at yours so probably a draw
