He works 12 hour nights which is why we're not gonna get much time together to coordinate.

Usually a good way to get a laugh straight off the bat.

 

I nearly potted the best man at my daughters wedding, as he delivered the worst speech I've ever heard - absolutely bladdered. She was fuming, fortunately the groom and I had both done about 20 mins a piece and had plenty of laughs etc so it took the edge of its awfulness. It was a proper tumbleweed 10 minutes though
