    Assistants: Gary Beswick, Sian Massey-Ellis
    Fourth official: Roger East

So, now we are all well and truly back in love with our beloved Saints, here's a little something to get us back in the mood for some fox hunting, just don't go overdoing it. Ah,ha.

So, coming into the game against the most boring football team currently in the EPL, We have smashed all opposition in our path.

We go all out for three points taking us ever closer to the Champions League places.

Apparently, and you're never going to believe it, but Clause McPuel used to manage Southampton at some point (think it may have been pre War time - hopefully Fran/Gooders can confirm) and put in a good word about us when we were looking to hire the T-Total George Burley.

Anyhow - back to the game - it's on Weds this week - two teams in good form - perhaps Leicester have the edge, but this is Saints and we gonna do 'em. Only concern in the press conference was MP2's worry over having some bird running the line. He appeared to think this was something to do with the half time entertainment, until Les whispered into his shell-like and told him not to worry as it was all taken care of.

    Team
I think we will go with 11 players, but the way Big Fraser is back - he'd do them on his own. Actually, I'd quite like to see video footage of him locked in a room with Ratty Vardy...

And to sign-off, I just don't think Leicester will feel totally satisfied with their game...

So, according to the team photo, we are going with 4 goalkeepers!!! Brilliant plan. :)

Tempted to keep the back five but I guess being at home we should go with:
    Forster
    Cedric (Pied)-VVD-Hoedt-Bertrand
    Lemina-Romeu
    JWP-Tadic-Boufal
    Austin

Yoshida, Davis, Hojbjerg, could swap with any of those and wouldn't be too much complaining. Maybe Romeu for Hojbjerg as we are at home and will have a more mobile and forward passing CDM pair. Manager actually has tough decisions to make!

How did it take him 3 months to discover we had more than 13 players in the squad?

'Southampton surprised me against Arsenal, I thought they did alright, They had chances and maybe should have been 2-0 up. Charlie Austin looks sharp. This will be a really good game. There will certainly be goals in this. Southampton are improving week on week. Leicester are having a go wherever they are.'

    Paul Merson says 2-2

Give them respect by keeping men behind the ball. Deny them the chance of releasing Vardy or Gray on the counter. If they even start, that is. Puel does like to rotate.

Boufal will surely start, but I'm intrigued what the rest of our attack will look like.

This is what I would go for but wouldn't be surprised to see something weird to fit davis in, probably for Prowse since he played the 90 against arsenal.

Tough one to call tbh, Leicester look good since Puel has arrived and we have played better of late. I will sit on the fence and go for a draw, 1-1.

Be interesting to see the response to Puel's return....he didn't leave us in the lurch (like MP1 and Koeman) or truly fail (8th and a Cup Final). I'm going for polite applause or an embarrassed silence.

I think Merson is spot on with the scoreline. I have been wondering how much to put on it all week. My other punt will involve either Vardy or Virgil being shown a red.

I'm going for boos and cries of "you don't know what you're doing".

After all, that's what he got when he walked round the pitch at St Mary's last May.
