I'm pretty sure it was Malky. But that said, if those stats are correct, it seems that OLM was right and Cardiff didn't even give him a decent chance to shine.
Frustrating isn't it. Get a solid team together and this league's there for the taking. You have Derby next week right? You being goal scorers like us I hope Rowett doesn't bring his away game anti football to the KCom like he did to Griffin Park. Fulham the following week will be far.more entertaining.
I didn't think they were anything special at all. It was more our incompetence that lead to them stealing the 3 points at our place. We gifted them their first two goals. We were 2-0 up and coasting to then lose 2-3 was almost unforgivable - it wasn't down to Bristol being brilliant either. I thought you were a better side than Bristol.
This league lacks quality...Only Wolves have been to our place and looked the business. Preston were well drilled and hard to break down, but we should have turned them over. Mbro looked solid. The rest have been average, Burton looked as if they were on a brewery trip and stumbled into a football stadium. Bolton dire, Birmingham gave up at half-time and couldn't be arsed to come out for the second half. I no longer follow City away so can't comment about the other teams, but I guess you could throw a blanket over the lot of'em.
Such an odd league. The only team we've thought are a class apart has been Wolves. Everyone else pretty ordinary. Brum, Burton and Derby the worst.
Ah sorry. Just seen it on boxing Day. Don't let it spoil your Christmas. Rowett will try. Maybe take some cheese and wine and download your Netflix.
Taken from the Charlton board. Seriouslyred knows the official attendance figures are much higher than the actual number of supporters who are present. He is not a fool, but he makes himself look like a fool, and he himself takes credibility away from everything else he says by pretending that there actually are 10,000 Charlton fans at any given home match, instead of between 6,000 and 7,000. It was nice to see the stadium looking less empty than it usually does yesterday (though only relatively less empty; 13,000 empty seats was still a lamentable sight). But SR knows, just like everybody else knows, that it was a one-off event. His presentation implies that those additional fans are going to be regulars from now on - which again he knows is simply not true. It's pretty sad to see an intelligent poster ignoring reality and putting forward data that he knows is wildly inaccurate as if it were factual. And for what? To stay in Reams' good books? To defend the non-existent reputation of a despised, discredited owner and his hated, incompetent CEO? RD does not care and KM can't do her job. These are not arguable points of view. They are facts, backed up by overwheming evidence. Wake up SR. Charlton are slipping out of the play-off places in the third division, playing in front of 20,000 empty seats in their own partly closed ground. That is Roland Duchatelet's gift to Charlton Athletic. That is the measure of how good an owner he is. Sound familiar?
She has been to City with me, and wouldn’t support anyone else, but she’s far too intelligent to start to actually care!
We played Villa many years ago, a summer game, after they'd been relegated. As Nigel Spink ran towards his goal (Bunkers end) what seemed like the whole stand made an extended arm with a limp wrist action towards him accompanied by a very camp sounding “Nigel, Nigel, Nigel” chant. I think this could be reciprocated as a modern day version for our own Nigel.
I think it’s $4.99 but I don’t trust a restaurant that show pictures of food on its menu, I know what steak and chips looks like
I remember doing that same thing to Grimsbys keeper (can’t remember his surname) when we had our trips to Cleethorpes (sending them down on one occasion if I remember rightly).
For those old enough to remember, the interaction with Charlie Wright of Charlton, who joined in and encouraged it was always enjoyable as he happily joined in. He always got a great reception from Bunkers.
