Let's assume Bellers doesn't come back, I'm not saying he won't but at this stage no one knows for sure apart from Bellers and maybe the City board and manager.

There has been no talk of alternative signings recently as we have all focused on Bellers and the new season.

However, there are 11 days of the current window left and then the Prem loan window from 7th September I believe.

Does anyone have any insider knowledge? If not, how about educated guesses or even pure speculation as to who else we could sign?

I said yesterday that Livermore and Townsend from Spurs would be good, a defensive midfielder and a good winger, both with Championship experience.

Malky has said that ideally he would like 4 more in total so answers on a postcard please to....................

i think we could do with another striker - i cant see earnshaw playing 40 games this season for some reason.

another 2 midfielders wouldnt go amiss, as for names i've no idea what sort of quality we'll be going for - so far i think we've only spend £880k on miller and £250k on mason so there could be money left in the kitty but how much?

i think we might get a loan or two like most clubs in this league will try to do <ok>

I'd still like a couple of wide men. It's the only place we don't have cover. I asume it will be a couple of premiership youngsters.

We stll need to see about shipping a couple out. Taiwo, Gypes, Naylor and Parkin are probably surplus to requirements. These would free up wages and create the space for a couple of additions and give the young bucks a chance.

It is who will be available then a matter of affording them...then beating off rival offers.

So far we have done well attracting players here so why not wait and be surprised? It`s not long new players will be here soon.

Malky has said he has a list of targets so he knows who he wants and will do his damndest to get them. Will be an interesting 10 days.

CCFC I agree on the 4 who could go plus possibly Wildig who seems a bit slow and lightweight (also doesn't have a sqaud number for some reason) and some of the youngsters to get loaned out for experience but even if he gets 3/4 in he probably needs to keep 2 of the 4 just for cover.

We need pace. CB will bring some if we get him, but we should be looking at wingers with real pace.

We don't really need him but I wonder if Jay Spearing is 'spare' at Liverpool. He was class at the end of last season but maybe available for loan as they've added to centre mid. Would be superb at Championship level imo but if loaned will probably go to a low end prem team.

    5 IN 3 OUT for me <ok>

A fast centre-back (Possibly Luke Chambers from Forest)
Another Winger or 2 (Maybe Henry Lansbury from Arsenal on loan or Darren Ambrose from Palace)
A back-up left back and get rid of Naylor (Any frees going?)
Another forward(heard Adam Le Fondre's name mentioned)

With Naylor, Parkin and Gyepes heading for the exit door :bandit:
