If you go back to the beginning of this thread you will see that I quite explicitly said that govts cover things up, deliberately withhold information and actively spread disinformation. That is no big secret. It’s the extrapolation from that, that everything they tell therefore must be a lie and the alternative version is the truth, that I have a problem with. I think the best position is to have a healthy skeptial mind about what info you are given, by whom and for what reason. That includes the official line and those who claim to know the ‘truth’.
