I'm not against having no border Mick, I really don't care but I don't see why NI should be able to stay in the EU (in everything but name) while Scotland can't. Plus you can't set conditions before any negotiations start, that's just blackmail.
I do agree with you, same can be said for London but the DUP are doing it for selfish reasons, they see a soft border as a step closer to a United Ireland (which won't happen,Republic couldn't afford it)
The sooner London declares itself an independant City State within the EU, the better. The rest of the UK is ****ed anyway. In fact there isn't any UK, this is the most disunited Kingdom since the Vikings overran Northumbria.
Do they really. They must have been raging for the last 25 years then because they have had a "soft border" since 1993.
This is by no means the first time representatives of the Unionist community have tried to kybosh a deal about the future of NI. Is it about time the UK govt called their bluff? Ah ****, hold up, they hold thhe balance of power in Westminster. Looks like we're all ****ed then.
