You misunderstand me Fred or it's poorly written. They clearly are vindictive ****s in a wider sense. However, I don't think they tried to get us relegated this year. It's in their interests to for us to be promoted or at least looking like we will to maximize the potential sale value and if they do anything its serve their own interests. Arrogance and incompetence are two traits they've got in spades.
No I get you, just I'm linking (or trying to at least!) their vindictiveness to that fact that they ultimately probably won't give a toss if we end up in the Evostick as long as they get their money out.
Unverified interview ending.. Ehab: OK Mr Adkins welcome to The Tigers, that's just about all, two more points before you sign though.. Nigel: Erm, what are they? Ehab: Leo said he wouldn't need a transfer budget, suppose that's fine by you too Nigel: Well, that's not what I was led to understand.. Ehab: Tough, we can't afford one, plus you don't get the stadium either Nigel: What? Ehab: Forget that.. I mean.. you're not interested in buying the club by any chance are you?
Ehab: sorry there is a transfer budget.....you just dont get to spend it. That's lee's job he has a track record and knows our philosophy
Thought we might have had the new man by now. Wonder if the Scab's still looking around for a cheaper option?
Nigel Adkins is keen on Hull City vacancy as search for Leonid Slutsky's successor steps up The former Southampton boss has emerged as the odds-on favourite with bookmakers Nigel Adkins has edged closer to becoming Hull City’s new head coach after indicating he is ready for a return to management at the KCOM Stadium. Adkins is the frontrunner to succeed Leonid Slutsky as City boss and is understood to have already held talks with vice chairman Ehab Allam. No agreement has yet been struck as the Tigers keep their options open but Adkins remains in pole position to become the club’s fifth manager inside 17 months. The next 24 hours are expected to bring progress as Allam aims to have Slutsky’s successor in place for Saturday’s home game with Brentford and bookmakers continue to make Adkins the overwhelming favourite. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/nigel-adkins-keen-hull-city-881889
I wonder what the delay is , maybe Adkins is the back-up candidate and Ehab is just getting a lot of rejections from others at the moment
I thought that last night. If Adkins has been at 2 games surely some dialogue would have already have taken place? If he was in the building yesterday, then why wasn't the deal done? Phil brown 20/1 on skybet worth a cheeky fiver.
