me and a couple of mates were planning on going, but unfortunately the coaches are all booked up. so that left me thinking how many people are we taking? anyone have a rough idea..
Got 2 tickets on saturday. guy in the office said we was on out second allocation first one being around 1400 so i'd expect 2000 + i managed to get coach tickets on saturday aswell (normally go by train, but couldnt afford it this time round) i'm on coach 6, not sure how many coaches going?
Same size stadium as us give or take. So I would say they weill give us 2000 allocation to start with maybe more if we sell out. I would say around 1750 ish.
they will give us 3000 if we need it. i'd say there will be more then 1750 tho mate, as 1400 was our first allocation.
ah well, looks like i will have to give this one a miss. can't afford to fork out all that money on a train ticket!
How much was the train tickets? i never looked, just knew i wouldnt be able to afford it i much prefer the train, can have a few beers on the way up and mingle.
I'm going with 3 others, driving up! only took 2 hours to go past there on the way to barnsley.Train costs a fortune and they wonder why people don't use public transport!
If they did day return deals on the trains on a Saturday to places like the Midlands I’m sure they would make more money than they do at the moment Barnsley was cheaper to fly than use the train but then you have to have an overnight stay, which is not all bad but that makes the costs mount up
I bought two tickets today and I'm on coach 7 so it looks like I was lucky to get coach tickets! I much prefer travelling on the train as well but the prices are a joke at the moment! It can't cost that much to run a train journey and if they charged less then more people would use it!
