Agree but didn’t rogers do that for one season whilst having to manage the loss of one legend per season - Carra, Suarez, then gerrard If he had others in terms of legends he could have possibly managed but those three in a squad as shallow as ours was made his job near enough impossible, surely
I think there are very very few who don’t think we got lucky on wed, I understand why the ref got it wrong but he got it wrong, very wrong. let's face a bit of reality with fat sam at everton. 1. slow arsed old cbs. 2. 2 dcms in gueye and Morgan 3. no pace wide and no top striker the recipe is all there for a defensive line up and set piece game
Yeah but I reckon the Keane Williams defence with baine legs going means a tight 2 dcm set up with Rooney waddling in front. if he gets a couple wingers and a striker great like but it's obvious what's needed
