I went to Sheffield Wednesday 2 weeks ago - it's a 9 hour round trip from where I live - will be watching on Sky
I was planning to, until Sky high jacked it. Already committed to a boozy lunch on Friday so will probably end up sleeping through the game!
For the ill informed out here on the west coast was the Middlesbrough match televised? I was unable to get a live feed, yet again, and because the Sheff Utd is on Sky it will be another bust for my viewing experience. This BCTV subscription has been a waste of money for me and I will not renew my participation, and why on earth they cannot tell the punters which games are covered and which are not is beyond my comprehension. It's probably buried in the fine print somewhere. I will have to see if Bein is carrying the game but as yet have had no luck in finding it in the TV schedule, however to all those making the trip good luck to you and our lads.
Hi Mike, Down here in Oz, BeIn sports showed the Boro game and also have the Sheff Utd game. Not sure if they are independent franchises in different countries though?
Thanks supcon. Bein Sports in Canada cover most, but not all, of the Sky games in the U.K and neither Midd or Sheff Utd are on their schedule here. The problem over here is that hockey, NFL, NBA and NHL take priority in North American eyes and those sports take up the spots that could cover the games that I want to see. I don't believe it. I think they also believe that nobody would want to watch games from the Championship when the over-hyped Premiership is more marketable.
I shall be passing Sheff on my way to near polar climes on WEDS, will throw a hex over sheff utd as I pass
