Whether it was a deliberate handball or not a player was half a yard away from scoring the simplest of headers and possibly winning the match. Instead, in a game when a win can turn our season around, we get this. We are ****, with injuries, with no luck. Oh well, nevermind!

Red card changed the game. But their 14 (I think) grabbed Oviedo around the neck and got a yellow. Standard red card for raising hands

Actually I say changed the game. We were poor first half but they never looked dangerous.

I should have learned by now it's pointless to get your hopes up because we're the best side going when it comes to pissing on them.

Guess I'll go back to expecting nothing.

I was surprised at the bits of higher than expected high expectation leading up to this match on here. This is Sunderland ffs.

Some of the ****e we have played at home this season and to not win a game? You need to be ****e AND not have the rub of the green to achieve that.

Our luck has to change sometime, it would help if we stopped shipping goals, clean sheets are required. This is stating the obvious, but I am despairing of our defence who seem incapable of defending

Didn’t look dangerous or troubled until the goal.

Still have no imagination centrally whatsoever.

Cattermole is becoming incredibly poor. Boo’s off a bit too far for a good servant who’s surely ran his course with us.

Mentality when first went in again shambolic, the crowd didn’t instant flip, that came later.

I’m actually going to say a CM who can pass and isn’t made from baby **** and wet straw is a very important position, we cannot open space as there is no guile or class or creativity centrally.

Reading were yet another poor side escaping with 3 points gifted, the quality of the league is appalling and we are still at the bottom of it.

It’s not luck, it’s poor players with worse mental strength.

If anyone would like to shoot me, feel ****ing free.

Looks like all those back injuries have shortened his career. No way to treat him, he's Shortened his own career playing through the pain barrier for this club numerous times and we boo him off the pitch. Shameful.

Bringing Galaway on sums that lot up, should have started with Asoro etc, why are they not interested at home, definetly the worst squad in our history. Even worse performance than when Grayson was here !, is there something wrong with Cattermole ? side wards backwards when we are getting beat.

Playing with 10 men and our left back goes off injured ...erm - it was either Love or Galloway

Why am I even responding to this <doh>

To be getting 27,000 through the turnstiles would be a dream for most cubs with our record, and deserves great credit in my opinion. Those that booed Catts of might be just fed up with watching a player who is, and never has been good enough. He is not alone of course and yes he does try, but that is not enough at any level, we want to see some championship quality, and this seems to be beyond some of our regular starters judging by results, which surely don't lie.

Sending off flipped the game. People going on like it was 11 v 11.

He may be top scorer but Grabban was nothing short of a disgrace today. I get he'
Not a "target" man but he doesnt even try to win the ball. He literally stood and watched Readings centre backs pass back and forth about 20 times at one point.

Cattermole again, abysmal. He's finished, time to pull him from the squad (get rid if we can) and promote E.Robson and Embleton.

Only positives today were a nice little cameo from Asoro (who'll surely start against Wolves) and Honeyman (motm) who was positive in everything thing he did and drove us forward.

Write it off and move on. Wolves is effectively a free swing for Coleman. Any result is a bonus.

Gooch was suggested, and is who I would have preferred, Love and Galloway has been underwhelming defensively in the games they have played to date, and we seemed to collapse after Oviedo went off, just a thought. <ok>.
