With Skybet paying seven places in the big hcapp at Newbury I'll be having an Ew wager on Present Man and Cogry. Also like Court King in 1.35 at Bangor.

How many emotional and dramatic moments have we seen down the years in the Hennessy? Here's hoping Coneygree can recapture his Gold Cup winning form and put this lot to the sword off top weight.

What improvement that horse has made by the GOAT. What a ride from Paul Townend too, be a champion jockey anywhere. Deadly.

What a cool customer Willie Mullins is! Great renewal, fine performances by both winner and runner-up, and a superb ride by Paul Townend............<ok>

I see Total Recall will get an entry for the Cheltenham gold Cup.. I wonder if any of the other horses will get an entry..especially Singlefarmpayment who i backed today and fell when he was just getting in to it. Horse we know absolutely loves Cheltenham.

Buveur Dair is the best hurdler since Binocular. Faugheen will give him a lovely lead to the last if he makes it to the race.

Just watched the Hennessy replay, what was notable about the ride on the winner? Seemed standard, the first two travelled easily all the way and the winner won because it was getting a stone. Whisper paying a compliment to Might Bite.

I have had SINGLEFARMPAYMENT earmarked as a potential Welsh Grand National winner for a while now. I was hoping that he wouldn't ruin his mark on Saturday so I guess I got my wish. I have no idea what the plan is for the horse but at 33/1 I have had a little bit on him ante post. He was slowly moving into contention but I wasn't convinced that he would pick the other two up from there.

To my un trained eye stick he wasn't jumping with any fluency early on...seemed to be hitting the top of the fences and usually jumps better. Will be interesting to see if he goes for the Welsh national.
