Kind draw for England although Belgium will ofcourse be very tough if they turn up. Also avoided a potential last 16 tie against one of the big boys .. Mexico have one of the tougher groups Russia v Saudi Arabia to kick off the World Cup - very underwhelming start!
Unfortunately Belgium often peak in the earlier rounds, I would rather have them later. We will have to beat Tunisia. No mugs in Germany's group.
On paper, England got a decent one and Mexico have it tough. Nevertheless, paper count for jack really. I was not looking forward to the world cup given the bad press England get and the build up of hope followed by dross. However, after the draw now I am. I want to watch it as a neutral and enjoy as many games as possible. I really hope it goes well for Russia as hosts as well, they too have some bad press internationally but don't deserve it. Obviously, I hope England win, but won't hold my breath!
Ísland have the hard group. Looking to the best side Nígería are not as good as they were and Agentína were lucky. I am fed up playing with Kroatía.
