Moyes is a poor manager and West Ham are a poor team, match made in heaven... championship heaven.

Big question is, does the tax payer get a refund for the stadium if the get relegated?

Arsenal thrashed Huddersfield and are going under the radar despite picking up some good points.

Sterling again nicking a late victory for City.

Chelsea got the 3 points v Swansea.

Everton finally get a victory. Rooney hattrick piling the misery on Moyes.

Burnley still keeping pace with the top.

And a beautiful brace by Mohamed Salah to round off for Liverpool!

Utd's next two games are against Arsenal and City.

Ours are against Brighton and Everton.

A chance to close the gap on 2nd is looming.

City have the title sown up imo.....so we're playing for one of 3 places against 5 competitors. 4 if you don't count Burnley. Some big teams will lose out.

Imo title is over if Utd don't beat city... though in reality if it's 10 or 11 point gap going in city can lose and it's still huge.

It could be 13 or 14 point gap at top.

On our side we just have to player better than tonight and keep getting points v lower half teams

    City...... 14 13 1 0 44 9 35 40
    Utd....... 14 10 2 2 32 8 24 32
    Chavs... 14 9 2 3 25 11 14 29
    L'arse.... 14 9 1 4 28 16 12 28
    Lfc........ 14 7 5 2 28 18 10 26
    Burnley 14 7 4 3 14 11 03 25

Thats the table. We have drawn too many games but that's Utd, Chelsea, burnely draws so only the newkie game stands out as bad... Watford opening day was also poor due to circumstances.

Thus far there's really not much separating Chelsea, arsenal, lfc and spurs... and Burnley are dreaming....

Ok so.... I heard on radio that the Everton game saw a wonder goal from Rooney.

So I had to watch yeah?

Everyone second goal was far far better. It was a open goal cos Hart was out of box and fluffed clear a e. I can't call that a work of genius that 606 BBC radio and unsworth called it.

Second goal was class team goal.

He wasn't the first and won't be the last to score a goal from that distance or further, by their definition all similar goals are wonder goals, but nope only Beckham and Rooney's other effort at West Ham are in that class according to the doctrine they follow.

I agree, second goal was much better and showed more determination, when the ball was first worked wide Rooney was on the half way line and sprinted half the pitch like a teenager (passing about 6 others on his way) to get on the end of the cross.

Yeah that whole team passed it out of a tight area and rooney played in in his own half towards wide right area then got on end of chance

Exactly. Alonso scored 2 or 3 and never got much notice.
