Well that was such a disappointing end to a very good performance. Bring on Bournemouth. Only problem is I'm going to be sat in the Home end on Sunday so will have keep quiet when we thrash them.
Faith and hope.... Those are the two things that have been restored in me over these last few days. A massive well done to Mauricio and all the players that have been involved, we now look like a team that knows what it supposed to be doing....COYRs
What tonight has done is bring my belief and passion in the team flooding back. Sunday certainly helped, but lets face it, it could have been a team of Not606ers facing Everton and they still would have lost. Tonight was a different kettle of fish. It's been a long time since we've been properly competitive against one of the top sides. And we were facing the best team in the league and one of the best in the world tonight. But I do have to ask: WHERE THE HELL WAS THIS 2 MONTHS AGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Because of such a poor start, I am not going to get too carried away but Pellegrino has showed he is a better manager than he has shown so far. But the jury still remains very much out.
Seen on the Man City forum that Pep said he was telling Redmond how good a player he is and can be, if we tried to play against City. Fair enough, but that's the game plan for almost all teams. rather not get tonked 6-0 because Pep wanted us to play..
Undeserved end to the game but tactically naive from MP at the death. Bringing on the bricklayer Austin ( who never touched the ball ) gave up our outlet ball and just invited constant pressure for the last ten minutes. As for Redmond seriously don't wanna see this guy in a Saints shirt again after an anonymous game he has to mouth off! Fool! Would have been better swapping Soppy for Redmouth and keeping PEH on the pitch. Nevermind a decent performance and I didn't even have to scream at the great raspberry in goal FF. (Awful colour kit!)
Then we just need to find another **** team that us not606ers can beat and we could survive in the premier league

Indeed. Sounds like he was somewhat impressed by the way we "gave it a go" against Liverpool. We lost 3-0! (And didn't even have a shot on target). It's OK Pep, thanks, but I'll take our tactics today vs a big team over those from ten days ago, any day of the week.
"Why can't they be more tactically naive and open so we can put 6 past them, I just don't understand why they wouldn't do it". Bizarre.
Imagine how stroppy Pep would have been if we managed to get a point Don't worry though Pep, when we spend the best part of a quarter of a £billion on new players maybe we'll be more attacking.
