I bet those that left early were all English too, DT. Anyone French would have toughed it out to the bitter end....:emoticon-0100-smile

It’s sick that one of the more attractive home games of the season is televised on a Monday night for a pittance Championship Level TV payment, when this would have been a near full house with a 3 pm Saturday kick off.

Ollie can say what he wants, it’s both churlish and immature to slag off fans who are also your customers. I don’t care how ****ing emotional and ‘QPR’ he is, every single QPR fan who left early is more ‘QPR’ than him, the Bristolian gnome, and the fans were clearly at the end of their tether with what sounds like another witless performance (I didn’t see it apart from highlights). If the game had finished at 92 minutes he would have been in deep trouble and he knows it.

It was 3rd of Jan 2000 so possibly our first of the millennium. Good quiz question.

I think Hollow is under pressure and was showing his frustration however you should never knock the fans. I read a tweet from a guy who spent nearly £200 going to Derby to see a Hollow team set up for defeat.

He has no right to tell people when they can and cant leave. Many fans are finding it hard to get the money for games and when the watch his negative tactics it doesn't help. It's down to him that many like me cannot be bothered to go to the games at present. That will change when the muppet goes and we get in a real manager.

As for Hollow being a QPR fan? I don't remember him at away games years ago? I don't remember him in the loft? People like us are the fans who have grown up QPR, not him. He is a manager like he was at Millwall/Palace/Blackburn/Bristol.
Knocking the fans will only alienate him even more.

I think Holloway's outburst was understandable, but wrong. He should apologise.

Things will get said in the heat of the moment. I disagree with him but don't think it will do us any harm in the long run.

If he could do something crazy like win an away game it will all be forgotten.

I think Ollie was wrong, in the Fulham game a equalizer looked liked it was coming, and it nearly did, last night Rangers never looked like scoring in a million years, I.m.o it was down to partly Rangers never giving up, but more Brentford switched off, and thought this game is already won, I turned off my T.v at 89 mins and took the dog for a walk, never in a milion years did I see what was coming,

Hollow seems to leave whole positions totally vacant. I remember at home to Hull we didn't have a left midfielder and last night it looked like there was nobody on the right in front of cousins. I presumed sylla was meant to do that role but why when you have 3 natural wide players on the bench! It absolutely baffles me. He is going against what we were told we were trying to achieve. We have no right back fit. So get the u23 right back and not a central midfielder! Ian's reasoning is 'experience'. Which is hypocritical of what we as a club should be trying to achieve. Square pegs in round holes springs to mind. Yes we got a draw at home but this team/squad/manager and club is going absolutely nowhere while we continue this way.

Agree with this. Bentley is normally an excellent goalkeeper but was woeful for the first and the defence woeful for the equaliser.

Even when the first went in there was a vibe from them that the game was won.

Personally I couldn’t give 2 ****s what Holloway, any arm chair fans or anyone else has to say about what me and my fellow (hundreds) of fans did by leaving early.
I’ve paid for my 3 ST’s for the last umpteen years and sat in the cold, wet ****ty weather during the good times and the bad.
If I want to leave 5 mins early then I’ve paid for that right.....this time it bit me in the arse, other times it hasn’t.....I’ll get over it, so will Olly.

    Stroller - very sensible.

I hope that the PR team will advise him and that he will listen.

Clearly, Mr Jacoby, you weren't at the match last night because I thought it was very cold, and I was dressed as if for the Artic. Perhaps the imminent closure of the M4 was also a factor in some leaving early (I think I got on it with seconds to spare). It sounds like most of the 606-ers who were there stayed to the end, as did I. That must say something about us 606-ers as supporters: we are clearly the most loyal, ardent fans amongst the Loftus Road faithful. I'm a season ticket holder and I travel to matches from Somerset, by the way: a 300 mile round trip.

Reading Ollie's comments about the fans, I saw nothing particularly wrong with them but then I watched the interview and I felt the aggression with which he made those comments was unfortunate and ill-judged. I would like to think he is man enough to apologise but it was heat of the moment stuff and I won't hold it against him.

What I will hold against him is that I really don't know what he is doing with his team selection or his tactics and I am not sure he knows either. The defending for both their goals was typically awful. Does he not do any defensive coaching? The players deserve credit for never giving up but overall it was a poor performance and the lucky draw just papers over the cracks, in my opinion. I thought Brentford were comfortably the better team, to be honest.

Clearly in the grip of the post match bubble he has said stuff that in a calmer moment he might not have.

I do believe that people have a right to support the way they like. I also think that Olly has an equal right to comment on it. It's just his opinion, said in the heat of the moment.

The players deserve our support - especially given the general consensus expresses by quite a few on here is that a lot of them are 'League 1' at best.

If that is the case then they are playing above themselves - that's something to be appreciated, not criticised, no?
