Seen Keane play twice this week, and I'm not going to blame their coaches for some of the things I've seen him do.
Williams, well he's always been a donkey! <laugh>

I've never had an issue with Shane, being the lone striker up top is not his game, Coming on when the game gets stretched in the second half is better suited to him.

I am convinced that should Everton attract a reasonably good new Manager that he would be able to sort the mess out, there is plenty of talent in the squad, but I grant you some were overpriced based on what they have done so far. It seems they are trying it on with Watford like they did with us and RonKlot, but Watford aren't playing ball, meanwhile the whole thing is collapsing around them, you can understand why their fans aren't happy.

Only another 70 right so to go then. Their hatred of Morgan is quite something.

Just rewatching on tv. The Siggi goal reminds me of MLT against Villa.

People blaming Fraser for that? *shakes head*

One big miss this week-end was the regular Daily Mirror Dressing Room disrupter article, was this because they don't like Everton either?

That's never going to happen at the stage of his career. He can only get into a area of good confidence, which will improve his technique, but that's only temporary. I've always liked Shane Long, but I realise his limitations.

I’ve been a bit unfair on Charlie. That was a lovely header for his first. Lovely cross too. My favourite part was Boufal’s dink to Ryan though.

So much more positive intent in our play, and a lot of that stemming from PEH. He was like Diet Lemina today. So good to see.

    Final thing (maybe).

If Tadic is ever put out back on the right, I’m going to eat my season ticket.

Second final thing. Great to see Gabbi celebrating with the team after Charlie’s second.

Playing with a smile on their faces was nice to see. Not you Virg, you can go and sit over there.

    Laces

Both headers were pretty incredible, especially the first one which was right in front of me. #as I said earlier, all five goals this afternoon were quality and I would have to say that this was probably the most entertaining home game for over a year at least. There was a rather bizarre quote from FLT about not caring about being entertained by the style of football. I think that the mood coming out of the ground this afternoon was demonstrative that most people really enjoyed the match and found it preferable to a tactical "chess match" approach with no goals. For me, it felt like Southampton had returned to the kind of performance most supporters prefer. It was almost like the old days.

The thing is that if Austin was sold to another Premiership club, you know that he would be likely to score against us.

How was it right in front of you if you were in the Itchen? Unless you swap between the Chapel and the Itchen throughout the games?

Agree that it was lovely to be entertained though.

When did I ever say that I sat in the Itchen Stand?

You ask me this same question every other week. FFS.

Yeah and and the intent applied to everyone. Boufal obviously, who was running at people and flicking balls on and had a hand in most of the goals. But also JWP, who According to the stats put in 18 crosses. (I assume that includes corners).

When you know you will win the ball back in midfield you can play fearlessly like that and just pepper the opponent. Its how I hoped would start playing once we brought in Lemina.
