Anyone else a bit miffed about Aquilani showing awesome class in pre-season just to move to Milan? I really thought he would be an excellent player for us. Also what is up with Raul? After Suarez goal, he was going mental and flicking someone off, not sure what is going on with him and why he is not playing....
Why Raul gave the finger to Lucas Bit annoyed about Aquilani, our best player in pre-season but when he didn't make the squad for Sunderland I assumed he was off whenever a decent offer came in for him and that time appears to be pretty soon unfortunately. Never really got going here but would have loved him to play a few games this season to see how he'd do.
fair one then, I wasn't sure if he was pulling a Rooney and losing it for a second. All pre-season it seemed Raul was the one off and then Aqua just disappeared, which we can guarentee that when Kenny found out he wanted off he just left him out of everything and focused on the ones who want to be there.
We loaned him out. We told him he wasn't welcome and now we're reaping what we sowed. If he'd been crap pre-season we'd have said he was just sulking to force a move. Playing well only seems to have made the club less likely to let him go cheap.
Let's clear this up, WOY loaned him out and for what reason is beyond me. I think a lot of were anticipating a full season with him but obviously Poulsen was needed....
