    Good move for him. He seems to be following Matt's footsteps. Doncaster, Reading, will Leicester be his next club?

    Good Luck Mills, went about your move in the right way, no whining. It looks like you have got a great club to help you develop (look what happened to Matt).
    IMO, Mills is better then Dickson so this move is quite disappointing that we have opted to let you go.

    Surprised they only gave him a one year contract, the fee couldn't have been that big then, this seems to me like an season long trial?

    yeah but as he's under 23, just, i expect they offered us a bit to avoid going to tribunal.

    It's a shame he's gone as I feel he is better than Harding, but it's a good move and good luck to him.

    I believe he had another year on his contract so the fee would only have been small, but maybe we've got a decent sell-on percentage.

    oh that might be right, he maybe signed a new contract the last summer, two years it must have been then?

    He never impressed me (but that may be due to the fact Pardew played him out of position at LM) , except for his little run in the side around the JPT Final

    Great player. Readings gain. Glad he got a good move.
    Now lets see who else isn't going to feature much this season & put them out on loan.
    Players that might not get a look in, too young, lack of experience etc now is the time to assess
    who will benefit to send out on loan.

    Clearly not part of the collective - probably told Adkins at the end of last season that he wanted a future away from Southampton. Whatever the reason, I echo other statements and say good luck to him and I wish him all the best.
