thought it was a good performance from him, bit like last seasons performances againts a good everton outfit. yes still loses the ball cheaply sometimes but he is learning and putting more effort in for the team imo :emoticon-0148-yes:

My my... five minutes of edited clips suggests he played better than he actually did over the 90. All action, lots of pass and move etc..

Fact was for the most part Everton didn't actually allow him anything like the space the clip suggests and that was for me what led to Adel making the passes shown here. All good though... he's learning at this level and it can't be too long before he starts creating opportunities, assists and some of those classic finishes he's so capable of...

    ...then the big sale.

ahh whatever you say about him you have to love him, he seems his learning more and more, got a few good tackles in which taarabt usually doesnt do, he also held the ball up well and skilled some of the everton players quite nicely, lets hope his free kicks improve

and that was a foul on him by ross barkley!

he was a lot more willing to get back and defend in the game, a definite change from last season (remember the tantrum at hull). also he looked most effective going forward with his skills at least when the everton players were getting tired around the 60 minute mark, where as before he'd been closely marked and had little time on the ball. he'll improve as his fitness improves

Have they used CGI in this or something? I watched the full 95-odd minutes and thought he had a shocker! Amazing what you can do with computers int it?

Nice clip Northolt, I didn´t see the game so I will take the general opinion that he wasn´t quite there yet, but what I did see encouraged me to believe that soon enough some team is going to get a right good ´abdullering´, love it to be Chelsea but prehaps it will be the Spuds???
    p.s. cool ´Ibiza-esque´ soundtrack

It wasn't his best performance but other teams are genuinely worried about him and are extra quick to close him down which should open up space for Faurlin, Buzsaky etc. Everton played Rodwell, more of a defensive midfielder, on the right wing presumably to stifle him.

You can tell Adel is on the 'step-up to the PL' learning curve. Terrible start, but he started to realise that he could be more beneficial with those intricate passes; which he is very capable of doing. Wasn't his best performance, but it was good to see him not overdoing the fancy stuff and playing for the team. He has to know that he needs to learn and take that step up or his career is destined at the low end of the PL or high end of the Championship! So it's all up to him - same as it ever was. What a great talent he has though :)

For a player with a virus he put in a very good shift ... I have yet to see a better player with the ball.

As i said at half time, what a difference it makes having an interested Tarbs in the team!
Almost looks like NW has told him "Adel, the more you pass to other people, the more they're willing to pass to you..which means the more time you have on the ball!"
Duno how you can doubt the editing of that video, it just shows every touch of the ball he had, mistakes and all!

He had a virus and is not match fit yet. I think the big plus point was, he didn't get frustrated and stuck to his job, apart for the towards the end when he looked very tired (see first two points).

Tarbs is a player no doubt about it. Yes he gives the ball away and consequently will give goals away this year but he'll make and score more. Plus the big pro for the team as someone flagged the other day is when he's being marshaled by other teams, it gives the other players some time and space to create or score themselves.

If we bring in some quality in the next fortnight, we'll have as good a chance as the other half-dozen sides looking to consolidate.

Not his best performance tbh, but certainly not his worst either.

He will be fully fit in a couple of weeks, remember he missed 3 weeks of pre-season training while that letch Flabio tried to flog him all over Europe. Once we get back from Int break he will be on fire :)

Get it right Bakes. Our former guru didn't try to flog Taarabt, he REBUFFED all attempts to buy him!
