What an utter waste of time! Very depressing. I see no reason for protests to stop. Or be escalated. More balls please?
Will go along the lines of, we will look at the branding, then stick two fingers up to all of you and leave it as it is. No change to concessions so **** all has or will change, nothing positive in it at all.
I skipped all 17 miles to work today. My name is Ehab Allam and I bend the truth because the brainless fans at Hull City Tigers let me
3 hours of nothing then. Glad 3 hours of **** all then . After new year is out the way, do any of you fancy meeting up for a beer or two and a laugh? Could meet in old town. Give us a shout on here if you do. It would be nice to see what other bas tards I have been conversing with.
I appreciate the efforts of Geoff, the trust, and all others that attended the meeting last night, however nothing - other than the fact that the Allam's have lowered themselves into talking directly to a small section of supporters - has changed. The supporters objectives for this meeting are well documented. How many were resolved last night? Not a single one as far as I can see. The Allam's single objective is clearly to stop all forms of protesting, only time will tell if they've achieved that objective, but somehow I seriously doubt it. Appeasement was the Allam's true objective last night, and it looks to me that they're probably feeling quite smug with themselves right now, thinking mission accomplished. Well from my point of view, and I'd guess many others, they can GTF until they have reintroduced proper concessions - something that clearly isn't going to happen whilst the boy blunder remains in place - and started referring to the club by its proper name again. #Allamsout
If that is the strategy, it's a risky one, if they don't now change anything, the protests are likely to be much worse than they would have been had they done nothing.
I wonder how long the Allams can string this out with more meetings promising possible future change on a few issues meanwhile stopping most protests Job done as far as they are concerned
We've all seen this play out for long enough to know that the Allam's give very little to nothing in any negotiations, I'm certain that they see giving any ground as a form of weakness. That being the case I can only envisage attendances getting smaller and protests continuing. Any intelligently run business listens to its customer base and acts on its requirements to improve the business, unless of course those that head up the business are belligerent egotistical maniacs, and that is unfortunately and quite clearly what we have here. It's of very little surprise to me that the only reason that they agreed to meet with what they see as the hooligan element was simply to achieve their objective, which is clearly to reduce/eliminate the protests, which will be an obvious embarrassment to their family name. As I said in my previous post I applaud Geoff and others for committing their time, and for attempting to right the many Allam wrongs, however I can also see the logic in what Fez posted earlier in the thread. It's a proper conundrum, stand by and do nowt, and nowt changes, attend meetings and only those things change that the Allam's allow. #allamsout
The hope they've achieved a minimum further 3 weeks of amnesty and likely a further period after that. And further divided supporters. And given a false public impression they are engaging with fans. Sorry but we've been mugged off yet again. The alternative approach? To say "you already know exactly what the vast majority of fans want. Make the necessary changes and then we'll talk. Until then protests continue ( and those staying away stay away)".
Anyone that doesn't agree with the Allam philosophy is classed as a hooligan mate, you surely know that by now, and on that basis hooligans attended the meeting, by invitation. The crazy thing is that we all know that they'll stick to their principles, and as a result their business will continue in its downward spiral. Idiots! #allamsout
