90-10?!

    according to BBC the possession you had over Ipswich was 90%-10%, is this really true?!

    When you look at the other stats, BNM - 24 attempts at goal and 11 corners - it does look feasible.

    Not so long ago, a TV commentator said that Barcelona had a possession average last season of 75% a game and went over 80% a couple of times, but both times only stuck one goal in.

    90% is amazing - the Ipswich keeper is going to need counselling...

    We were all over them bar 5-10 minutes which led to their goal but I didn't think it was quite 90%. The two red cards for them obviously contributed to this in the second half, but the game was already over by then.

    The possession stats given on the BBC site are normally a complete joke and this just proves it.

    Assuming possession went to ipswich after each goal, allow 30 seconds of misery before they kick-off each time, another 10 seconds to lose possession - only gives them 5.2%. Where did the other 4.8% possession time come from?
